本考案屋根材の接続構造は、捨て板1の上面に
断面略T字状のジヨイント部3を突設して合成樹
脂製の継ぎ手7を形成し、捨て板1表面とジヨイ
ント部3裏面との間に形成された嵌合溝5内に金
属系の屋根材4の側端を挿入し、この屋根板4の
水流れ方向下端に裏面側へ折り返された下はぜ部
6を設けて下ばぜ部6内に捨て板1下端を嵌入
し、ジヨイント部3の上面に被せられたカバー8
の下端部を下方へ折り曲げて嵌合部9を形成し、
この嵌合部9内に屋根板4の下ばぜ部6を挿入し
て成ることを特徴とするものであり、これによつ
て上記目的を達成するに至つた。 以下本考案の実施例を添付図に基いて詳述す
る。第3図に示すものは、合成樹脂成形品(射出
成形)の継ぎ手7であり、塩化ビニル、ポリプロ
ピレン、ABS樹脂、アクリル樹脂、ナイロン等
の合成樹脂で成形されている。これは、捨て板1
の表面に断面略T字状のジヨイント部3が一体に
突設され、ジヨイント部3裏面と捨て板1表面と
の間に左右の嵌合溝5が形成されている。ジヨイ
ント部3の上板10の裏面には一定ピツチ毎にリ
ブ11が設けられていてジヨイント部3の剛性が
高められている。また、捨て板1の表面には排水
をスムーズにし、横流れを防止するために上下
(水流れ)方向に複数条の水切り溝12が凹設さ
れ、捨て板1表面の両側端には水止め突条13が
突設されている。また、捨て板1の上端には表面
側へ向けて水上側水止め14が突設され、下端に
は裏面側へ向けて水下側水切り15が垂下されて
いる。屋根板4は、銅板、着色亜鉛鉄板、塩化ビ
ニル被覆鋼板、ステンレス鋼板、リシン鋼板等の
金属系の材料を折り曲げ加工したものであり、下
端には裏面側へ向けて下はぜ部6が延出され、上

は、第1図に示してあるように捨て板1の上部が
屋根板4よりも突出しているが、ここは上段の屋
根板4が葺設されると屋根板4により確実に隠さ
れる。しかも、ジヨイント部3の下端もカバー8
の嵌合部9により覆われる。こうして合成樹脂製
の継ぎ手7は露出せず、耐候性の上からの問題は
