Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a colored zirconia ceramic having readily and finely controllable color tone, flexing resistance, toughness, etc., by blending a main component consisting of zirconia and stabilizer with a specific amount of CoO and Al2O3. CONSTITUTION:Zirconia powder is uniformly blended with stabilizer powder (e.g., Y2O3 powder). Then 100wt.% of the prepared main component is blended with 0.1-5wt.% pigment and 0.1-20wt.% Al2O3 as pigment to produce a colored zirconia ceramic. oの含有量を変化させるしかなく、微妙な色調のコント
ロールをすることは非常に困難であった。

%含有させて着色ジルコニアセラミックスを形成したも
のである。

下の通りである。まず、ジルコニア原料粉末は平均粒径
0,15μm以下、好ましくは0.06μm以下のもの
を用い、YzO3+MgO+CaOなどの安定化剤は平
均粒径2μm以下、好ましくは1μm以下のものを用い
る。あるいは、所定量の安定化剤が加えられた共沈ジル
コニア粉末を用いてもよく、この粉末を用いると安定化
剤とジルコニアが一層緻密かつ均一に分布した混合状態
になるため、焼結体の結晶粒径が均一化されるという利
点を有する。

、逆に患18のように5重量%を超えると抗折強度、靭
性が極端に劣っていた。
