A series circuit is provided in parallel with a running display section having a lighting element for indicating the running of the tape, and a series circuit consisting of a music selection cueing switch which is closed during automatic tape selection cueing, and a lighting element for indicating the song selection cueing; a first semiconductor switch for controlling circuit opening/closing of both lighting elements, which is provided between the unit and the power supply terminal or the ground point;
a control signal output section that outputs a closing control signal to the first semiconductor switch; and a fast forward/rewind circuit that is closed during fast forwarding and rewinding of the tape, cuts off the closing control signal, and opens the first semiconductor switch. a switch, an oscillator that outputs an oscillation signal by cutting off the closing control signal, and a second semiconductor switch for controlling the opening and closing of electric circuits of both display elements, which is provided in parallel with the first semiconductor switch and opens and closes according to the oscillation signal. and an audio output unit that converts the oscillation signal into audio and outputs a notification sound.
