Crimpable fibers that compose spun yarns and filament yarns conventionally used as pile yarns include wool, rayon, acrylic fibers, polyester fibers, and nylon, but these are not completely elastic materials like rubber or polyurethane. Since it is a non-foamed material, the resulting pile gradually becomes flattened and loses its elastic recovery power after long-term use. Intervention measures are taken.

Therefore, the tactile texture due to the cushioning properties of the pile fabric and the sponge sheet are different, and therefore,
Even if a sponge sheet is laminated or interposed on the back surface, the cushioning properties inherent to the pile fabric cannot be improved.

This is because simple rugs are most characterized by their ability to be folded, and rugs that cannot be folded extremely easily are no longer called simple rugs.

The pile fabric 17 according to the present invention meets the above-mentioned purpose, and has a core made of cushioning yarn 11 made of foamed polymer material, a sheath made of short fiber sliver 12, and a front side of the sheath. The long fiber filament 13 is twisted and the cushioning yarn 11 and the short fiber sliver 12 are bundled to form a core-sheath structure, which is used as the pile yarn 14. It is characterized in that loop piles 16 are formed by tufting the base fabric 15 in similar colors.

In particular, since the cushioning yarn 11 and the short fiber sliver 12 have similar colors, even if the cushioning yarn 11 protrudes from between the short fibers of the sliver 12, the aesthetic appearance of the pile surface is not impaired, and the cushioning yarn 11 protrudes from between the short fibers of the sliver 12 without damaging the appearance of the pile surface. In particular, it does not receive any frictional resistance, so thread breakage does not occur frequently, and the pile fabric 1

Unlike pile yarns in looms and knitting machines, yarn 4 is not constantly subjected to strong tension, but is instantaneously subjected to tension when the needle comes out of the base fabric 15. Even when the fiber sliver 12 is lightly bundled with the thin long fiber filament 13, the fibers do not break during the tufting process, and in particular, the short fibers stick together under the expansion force of the cushioning yarn. When the cushioning yarn 11 is made of a material with a high coefficient of friction, such as rubber or polyurethane, the binding between short fibers is strengthened through it, and tufting can be performed as efficiently as conventional pile yarns. be done.
