Prior Art Conventionally, there have been air mats in which front and back sheets are glued together in spots to provide recessed portions. This air mat has a through hole in the bonded portion to reduce the peeling load applied to the bonded portion by applying internal pressure to the mat.

Purpose of the invention The purpose of this invention is to provide an air mat that can reliably prevent peeling by reducing the peeling load as described above, and can also exhibit a decorative effect.

Example The first example that embodies this idea will be described below.
This will be explained based on the diagram and FIG. Front sheet 1
and the back sheet 2 are airtightly adhered at their outer peripheries so that air can be injected into the interior. Both sheets 1 and 2 are spot-bonded at appropriate positions by welding, and the bonded portions 3 are arranged in a regular manner. A through hole 4, which is slightly smaller than the adhesive part 3, is formed in the adhesive part 3.

A pair of female and male caulking rivets 5 and 6 have flanges 8 and 9 having a larger diameter than the adhesive portion 3 at their heads, and are caulked to each other through the through hole 4. In this case, adhesive may be used at the joint between both rivets 5 and 6.

When internal pressure is applied to the air mat, depressions are formed around the rivets 5 and 6 due to the internal pressure, and the adhesive portion 3 is pulled by the internal pressure. A peeling load (meaning force in the vertical direction in FIG. 1) is applied to try to peel it off.

However, in the embodiment of the present application, since the collar portions 8 and 9 of the caulking studs 5 and 6 are made larger in diameter than the adhesive portion 3, most of the peeling load is applied to the pair of caulking studs 5 and 6.
The peeling load applied to the flanges 8 and 9 and actually applied to the adhesive portion 3 is very small. Therefore, the peeling load applied to the adhesive part 3 can be further reduced than when simply providing the through hole 4 in the adhesive part 3,
As a result, peeling of the adhesive portion 3 can be reliably prevented. Moreover, there is a caulking stud 5 in the center of the recess.
Since the number 6 heads are arranged, it can also create a decorative effect.

Next, a second embodiment of this invention will be explained based on FIG. In this second embodiment, a stepped surface 6a is formed on the outer periphery of the protrusion of the male caulking stud 6, and the adhesive portion 3 is sandwiched between the stepped surface 6a and the tip surface of the female caulking stud 5. This is what I did. Therefore, in this second embodiment, peeling of the adhesive portion 3 can be more effectively prevented.

Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, a bulge 6b is formed at the tip of the protrusion of the male caulking stud 6, and the male protrusion and the inner surface of the female hole are engaged with each other. Alternatively, portions 6c and 5c may be formed.
In this way, after the two caulking studs 5, 6 are caulked, they will hardly be separated, and no adhesive will be needed. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a seat ring 7 made of a soft material may be provided on the inner surface of the heads of both rivets 5 and 6.

Effects of the invention As exemplified in the examples above, this invention not only adheres the front and back sheets in spots at appropriate areas, but also forms a through hole in the adhesive part, and a flange having a diameter larger than the adhesive part. By caulking a pair of caulking rivets with a section to each other through the through hole, the peeling load of the adhesive part for forming the recessed part is made even smaller than that of only the through hole, and the peeling of that part is ensured. This has the effect of not only preventing damage but also providing excellent decoration.
