[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure,
Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure by integrating a core and a face plate. [Prior art] Conventionally, sheet materials made of relatively soft metals, such as aluminum and its alloys, metal foils such as aluminum foil and iron foil, paper such as paperboard, resin-impregnated paper, and synthetic paper, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc. The laminated material made of plastic sheets is laminated, and the plates or materials are fixed to each other at regular intervals using a bonding agent such as brazing material or adhesive, and the thus constructed laminate is laminated in the thickness direction. A honeycomb structure is known in which a honeycomb core is formed by stretching, and face plates are fixed to both edges of each material forming the laminate, that is, the front and back surfaces of the honeycomb core, using a bonding material. An example of such a honeycomb structure is shown in the perspective view of FIG. 3A. The honeycomb structure 1 of this example has a core 2
and a face plate 3 that covers both sides of the core 2 and is fixed to it.
It consists of. The core 2 is formed by stacking ribbon-shaped aluminum alloy plates 2a at predetermined intervals and stretching them in a direction perpendicular to the laminated surfaces to form an assembly of hexagonal cylinders. As illustrated in the partial front view of FIG. The soldering material 4 is placed on a base plate 5, and is pressed from above with a flat pressing jig 6 of a pressing device, and during this pressing, the brazing filler metal 4 is heated and melted, and then cooled. It is done by [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, the pressure applied by the pressure jig 6 only serves to fix the face plate 3 until it is brazed to the core 2, and does not cause thermal expansion of the face plate 3 or the core 2. It is not possible to suppress all kinds of deformations due to That is, if the deformation is severe, as shown in FIG. 4A, the face plate 3 will be distorted, resulting in a deformed panel or poor brazing, which will reduce the yield. Further, as shown in FIG. 4B, the pressure jig 7 is fixed to the base plate 5 with bolts 8 and nuts 9, and pressure is uniformly applied through the square pipe 7a to prevent deformation of the face plate 3 and core 2. If this is attempted, on the contrary, the core 2 will be deformed due to thermal expansion of the core 2. The above problem is particularly noticeable when the core 2 is thin. An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and provide a method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure with a high yield without causing deformation of the face plate 3 or the core 2. [Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention employs the following configuration as a means for solving the above problems. That is, with the fixing material placed in the contact area between the core and face plate, the core and face plate are arranged in a honeycomb structure, and then the arranged core and face plate are heated while being pressed with a pressure jig. and then cooling to solidify the fixing material at the contact portion to fix the core and the face plate. When the pressing jig is displaced by a predetermined amount in the opposite direction to the pressing direction during pressing and heating, the suppressing member comes into contact with the pressing jig, and the pressing is performed. The gist of this invention is a method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure characterized by a stepwise increase in force. [Operation] The clamping force due to the weight of the pressing jig remains constant even if the pressing jig is displaced. Therefore, the clamping force is only for fixing the core and the face plate, and is not excessive enough to deform the core. However, if the pressure jig is displaced by a predetermined amount,
A suppressing member contacts the pressing jig. As a result, the clamping force increases stepwise, and if the core and/or the face plate attempt to deform excessively, a force sufficient to suppress the deformation is applied to the face plate and the core. Next, examples of the present invention will be described. The present invention is not limited to the following examples, and includes various embodiments without departing from the gist. [Embodiment] FIG. 1A shows a front view of essential parts of a clamping device used in a first embodiment of the present invention. On the base plate 5 of the clamping device are two aluminum alloy face plates 3 whose surfaces are brazed with brazing filler metal, and the face plates 3.
In between, aluminum alloy cores 2 are arranged in the form of a honeycomb panel (honeycomb structure).
Furthermore, a pressing jig 6 of a pressing device is placed above the arranged cores 2 and face plate 3, and its weight presses the face plate 3 and core 2 between it and the base plate 5. There is. On both sides of the core 2 and the face plate 3, support members 10 which also serve as spacers are erected on the base plate 5.
A restraining jig 11 serving as a restraining member is placed on the support member 10 . The supporting member 10 is selected to have an appropriate length, and a slight gap is formed between the upper surface of the pressing jig 6 and the lower surface of the restraining jig 11. In the case of aluminum alloy face plate 3 and core 2, this gap is 0.2 to 6 of the thickness at room temperature.
% is preferable. When the entire device is heated in this state, the face plate 3 and core 2 expand. If the whole expands uniformly without distortion, even if the pressure jig 6 rises, the restraining jig 11
Since the distance between the pressure jig 6 and the restraint jig 11 is adjusted so that they do not come into contact with the lower surface of the The jig 6 abuts against the restraining jig 11. After they come into contact, due to the weight of the restraint jig 11, the clamping force applied from the outside of the two face plates 3 to each of the two face plates 3 that sandwich the core 2 on the sandwich bench increases during the step. Therefore, its displacement is restricted. If the supporting member 10 is made of the same material as the face plate 3 and the core 2, the gap between the pressurizing jig 6 and the restraining jig 11 can be easily set to allowable distortion because thermal expansion can be ignored. For example, the overall panel thickness
If it is 29.4mm, it will be 0.15mm when it is fully thermally expanded.
The length of the support member 10 may be set so that a gap of mm to 0.5 mm exists between the restraining jig 11 and the pressing jig 6. In addition, in order to further reduce heat transfer to the restraint jig 11 when the restraint jig 11 and the pressure jig 6 come into contact, square holes 11a are bored in a grid pattern as shown in FIG. You may. The smaller the contact area, the less wasted thermal energy due to heat transfer. A honeycomb panel was manufactured using the method of this example. The core 2 used was an aluminum plate BA21PC (thickness 0.15 mm) manufactured by Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, formed into a honeycomb shape with a cell size of 1/2 inch and a height of 27 mm, and the face plate 3 was manufactured by Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, Ltd. An aluminum plate BA11PC (thickness 1.2 mm) manufactured by Co., Ltd. was used. The dimensions of the panel after manufacture are: length 900mm, width 150mm, thickness
Designed to be 29.4mm. Pressure and restraint method As shown in Figure 1A, pressurization jig 6 and 7
Load a heavy object of g/c〓 and use it as a restraint jig 11.
Using a stainless steel plate with holes in a lattice shape that applies a load of 0.1Kg/c〓, and using an aluminum alloy plate with a thickness of 25 mm as the support member 10, the pressure jig 6 and restraint jig 11 are connected. Gap is 0.2mm at room temperature
And so. This product is stored at room temperature in an N2 gas atmosphere.
The temperature was raised to 600°C at a rate of 10°C/min, held at 600°C for 40 minutes, and then cooled to obtain a honeycomb panel. As a comparative example, as shown in Figure 4 A, there is a method in which only a heavy load of 7 g/c is loaded (Comparative Example 1), and as shown in Figure 4 B, a 1.5 mm thick stainless steel plate is shaped into a 22 mm square square pipe. A method (Comparative Example 2) was carried out in which the screws were tightened using Table 1 shows the states of the honeycomb panels of Examples and Comparative Examples.

According to the method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure according to the present invention, the clamping force due to the weight of the pressing jig remains constant even if the pressing jig is displaced. Therefore, the clamping force is only for fixing the core and the face plate, and is not excessive enough to deform the core. However, when the pressure jig is displaced by a predetermined amount, the suppressing member comes into contact with the pressure jig. As a result, the clamping force increases stepwise, and if the core and/or the face plate are about to deform excessively, a force sufficient to suppress the deformation is applied to the face plate and the core. therefore,
Mere thermal expansion of the core and/or face plate is allowed, and distortion due to heat is suppressed. Therefore, a honeycomb structure with high processing accuracy, good flatness, and small height tolerance can be obtained. Furthermore, it becomes a highly reliable structure with no brazing defects. This is particularly effective for honeycomb structures with thin cores and large cell sizes.
