"Prior art" A parts feeder using this type of electrostrictive element as a driving source is operated by a commercial voltage of 100 to 200 VAC.
It is known for its low power consumption and miniaturization of devices, but conventionally the electrostrictive element and the leaf spring to which the electrostrictive element is attached are insulated by a thin film made of insulating paint. However, after long-term use, the thin film of insulating paint, which has poor durability, could deteriorate and crack, and in extreme cases, it could peel off and become unusable. .

We proposed a "parts feeder with an insulating layer."

"Problems that the invention attempts to solve"
Although the parts feeder proposed in the above publication (refer to the above publication) achieved almost the intended purpose, the electrostrictive element and the surrounding leaf spring were insulated and protected by a heat-shrinkable tube that covered the entire surface of the leaf spring. The lead wire, which is connected by soldering etc. to the electrode surface exposed to the outside on the opposite side to the pasted surface of the electrostrictive element, is connected along the side surface of the laminated body of the leaf spring and the electrostrictive element. Since the lead wires must be covered with a heat shrink tube at the same time, there is a risk that a gap may be created between the lead wire and the coating layer during long-term use, reducing the moisture-proofing effect of the heat shrink tube. .

``Means for solving the problem'' Heat shrink the electrostrictive element with a small hole to expose the part of the electrode surface opposite to the electrode surface where the lead wire should be connected. After pasting the above two together with a tube, covering the laminate and connecting the lead wires in the small hole by soldering, etc., the small hole of the heat shrink tube is sealed with an insulating filler. do.

In addition to alternating current, the power source for driving the electrostrictive element can also be direct current by providing a switching mechanism.Furthermore, it is not limited to the straight type shown in the example, but can also be a curved type that conveys objects in a spiral direction. It can also be applied to parts feeders, etc.

``Effects of the invention'' The parts feeder of the invention, which has the above-described structure, connects and fixes the electrostrictive element to the inclined plate spring extremely firmly using the heat-shrinkable tube, and the lead wire is inserted through the small hole of the heat-shrinkable tube. Since it is drawn out perpendicularly to the main surface of the electrostrictive element and sealed with an insulating filler filled around it, there is no risk of affecting the heat shrink tube and it greatly improves durability. It has a positive effect.
