[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a corrugated pipe joint for connecting synthetic resin corrugated pipes used as drainage pipes for rainwater, domestic wastewater, etc., for example.

Conventionally, there have been almost no corrugated pipe joints of this type that have satisfactory watertightness. Therefore, for example, when connecting two corrugated pipes, each corrugated pipe is inserted from both ends of a cylindrical joint, a sealant is injected between the corrugated pipe and the cylindrical joint, and tape is placed around both ends of the joint. Connections were made by means such as wrapping the wire around the wire.

However, with the method of connecting corrugated pipes as described above, the sealant injected between the corrugated pipes and the fittings only partially enters, making it difficult to completely seal the gap between the corrugated pipes and the fittings, resulting in water leakage. This was likely to occur. Furthermore, when using a cylindrical joint, one of the corrugated pipes must be moved in the longitudinal direction to insert it into the joint, so if the pipe is long and has a large diameter, moving the pipe can be very cumbersome. The problem was that it took a long time to connect the pipes.

The present invention was developed in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a corrugated pipe joint that is easy to connect and has good watertightness.

To achieve this purpose, the corrugated pipe joint of the present invention connects a pair of half cylinders through a hinge so that they can be made into a cylinder by opening and closing operations, and also allows them to be connected to each other in the cylinder state. Each half cylinder is provided with an engaging means capable of fixing it, and protrusions that fit into the grooves on the outer surface of the corrugated pipe to be connected are provided on the inner circumferential surface of each half cylinder near both ends of each half cylinder. The gist is that the protrusions are formed in pairs so as to face each other, and that a groove portion for filling the curable resin is provided between each pair of protrusions.

With such a configuration, with both half cylinders open, the ends of both corrugated pipes to be connected are placed on top of one of the half cylinders, and the projections on the inner surface of the joint are aligned with the valleys on the outer surface of the corrugated pipe. After fitting the two half-tubes into each other, the other half-tube is closed to form a cylindrical body, and both half-tubes are engaged with the engaging means to easily connect the corrugated pipes. Moreover, by injecting liquid or gel-like resin from the injection port provided on the outside of the semi-cylindrical body, the groove between the pair of protrusions is filled with resin, and the resin hardens. As a result, the gap between the corrugated pipe and the semi-cylindrical body is completely closed, and sufficient watertightness is maintained. Also, if it is an open/close type split joint like this,
Connection can be made by increasing the height of the protrusion on the inner surface of the joint so that it fits deeply into the trough on the outer surface of the corrugated tube, so movement such as slipping out of the corrugated tube can be reliably stopped. In addition, the joint of the present invention can be stored by stacking both half cylinders in an open state so as not to take up bulk, so it can be stored if there is a small storage space.

Further, an elastic engagement protrusion 8 having a return prevention claw 8' formed at the tip thereof protrudes from the collar 6 of the half-cylindrical body 1.
An engagement hole 9 is bored in the collar 6 of the other half cylinder 2. As shown in FIG. 2, when the engagement protrusion 8 is press-fitted into the engagement hole with both half-cylindrical bodies 1 and 2 closed, the return prevention claw 8' is inserted into the hole edge of the engagement hole 9. The half cylinders 1 and 2 are fixed in a cylindrical state by being engaged with the cylinder body.

When connecting corrugated pipes using the corrugated pipe joint configured as described above, as shown in FIG. Place the ends of the corrugated tubes A and B on top of it, and connect the protrusions 14 and 15 on the inner surface of the joint to the troughs a and
After fitting the protrusions 16, 17 on a' into the troughs b, b' of the corrugated tube B, the other half-cylindrical body 2 is closed to form a cylinder, and the engaging protrusions 8, 8, 8 are closed. They may be press-fitted into the engagement holes 9, 9, 9 and engaged and fixed. In this way, both corrugated tubes A and B are connected. Next, a predetermined amount of liquid curable resin R is injected from one nozzle 30 provided on the outer wall of the semi-cylindrical body 2, and the outer wall peak m of the corrugated tube A and the semicircular protrusions 10, 11, 14, 15 The space surrounded by the grooves 18 and 20 between them is completely filled with resin. Similarly, a predetermined amount of liquid resin component is injected from the other nozzle 31, and the outer wall peak m' of the corrugated tube B and the semi-annular projections 12, 13, 16, 17
The space surrounded by the grooves 19 and 21 between them is completely filled with resin.

As described above, the corrugated tubes A and B can be connected reliably, and water leakage between the corrugated tubes A and B and the joint can be almost completely prevented. In this case, in order to further improve the watertightness, as shown in FIG. It is desirable that the grooves 18, 20, 19, and 21 communicate with each other. By doing so, the liquid resin component is transferred to the small groove 2.
4 and 25 are also filled, and the collars 3 and 6 of the semi-cylindrical bodies 1 and 2 are filled with
It is possible to prevent water leakage from the gap between the overlapped parts. Incidentally, as the curable liquid resin, unsaturated polyester resin, isocyanate foam, etc. are used.

The means for engaging the half cylinders 1 and 2 in the above embodiment is based on the fitting between the engaging protrusion 8 provided on the collar 6 and the engaging hole 9 provided on the collar 3, but various engaging means may be used. It is possible to change the design of half cylinders 1 and 2.
Any device that can be fixed in a cylindrical state can be used as the engaging means of the present invention. In addition, it goes without saying that the structure of the hinge part can be used by attaching a separate hinge or the like in addition to the structure that utilizes the properties of the resin itself such as polyethylene as in the above embodiment. Hinge part 7 in Fig. 1
When installing instead of the flange, a soft, thin rubber or other packing material is required between the flange 4 and the flange 5 to ensure watertightness. Further, in the above embodiment, the pair of protrusions formed on the inner peripheries of the half-cylindrical bodies 1 and 2 are provided adjacent to each other near both ends of each half-cylindrical body, but the projections are limited to those where the respective protrusions are adjacent to each other. It is not something that will be done. Further, the presence of protrusions other than the pair of opposing protrusions does not depart from the gist of the present invention.

FIG. 5 is a partial perspective view showing another embodiment of the corrugated pipe joint of the present invention. A pair of protrusions 40, 41 and another pair of protrusions 50, 51 facing the protrusions 40, 41 are provided near both ends of the half cylinders 1, 2. Wide grooves 45 and 46 are formed between the projections 40 and 41 and between the projections 50 and 51, respectively. One or more of the outer wall peaks and troughs of the corrugated pipe are inserted into this groove. Further, the projections 42 and 52 fit into the valleys of the outer wall of the corrugated pipe, and it would not depart from the gist of the present invention even if such projections were provided in addition to the pair of projections. FIG. 6 is a longitudinal sectional view of the corrugated pipes A and B placed on the corrugated pipe joint shown in FIG. 5.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to the corrugated pipe joint of the present invention, corrugated pipes can be easily connected in the same manner as in the past, and the corrugated pipes can be securely fixed, and there is no possibility of water leaking from the joint. Moreover, since the half-cylindrical body can be transported and stocked in an open state, it requires less space.
