Conventionally, synthetic wood made of various plastic foams has been provided as a material that overcomes the drawbacks of natural wood, has excellent durability, and can be manufactured at low cost. However, in order to generally increase the bending Young's modulus of such synthetic wood, the specific gravity of the wood itself must be increased, which poses a problem when used as a scaffolding material or the like.

For this reason, synthetic wood with long glass fibers interposed within a plastic foam is available as a material that is lightweight and has excellent strength characteristics. However, even when synthetic wood with long glass fibers interposed therein is used as a scaffolding material, in order to obtain a predetermined bending strength, the thickness must be adjusted accordingly.

By the way, in order to impart a predetermined bending strength to a plate material, it is not necessarily necessary to make the thickness of the plate material uniform.

In order to achieve this purpose, the plate material for bending-resistant material according to the present invention is made by first constructing the plate material from a long glass fiber reinforced plastic foam in which long glass fibers are dispersed in a heat-reinforced resin foam. It is made into a square shape, and the thickness of at least both sides is made thick enough to withstand the prescribed bending stress, and the weight is reduced by leaving these both sides and forming a recess in the length direction. This is the summary.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a part of the plate material according to the present invention. In the plate material 1, long glass fibers are uniformly dispersed in a thermosetting resin such as liquefied unsaturated polyester resin to a monofilament state. Do you want me to do it?
Alternatively, long glass fibers are unevenly dispersed depending on the load acting on the plate material, and extrusion molding is performed while foaming, and a decorative board 2 made of synthetic resin is coated on the surface.
is attached. In the illustrated example, the decorative board 2 is attached only to one side of the board material, but it may be attached to both sides, or the decorative board 2 may not be attached at all. Furthermore, when used as a scaffolding material, etc., instead of pasting the decorative board 2, a non-slip resin may be sprayed on the surface of the board 1, or a rubber board having grooves or uneven parts may be pasted. Also, depending on the application, a smooth plate with good lubricity may be installed.

The plate material 1 has a recess 3 formed in the longitudinal direction, leaving both side portions 1a, 1a open. This recess 3
The width and depth of the plate material 1 can be arbitrarily set depending on the use of the plate material 1. For example, when a board is used as a scaffolding, the width and depth should be smaller than when it is used as a shelf.

Further, FIG. 2 shows another embodiment, in which not only the side parts 1a, 1a but also the central part 1b is left, and recesses 3, 3 are bored in the longitudinal direction. be. Furthermore, FIG. 3 shows an embodiment in which a cavity 4 is formed inside the plate material 1 in the longitudinal direction. In this way, by forming recesses or the like in the longitudinal direction leaving at least both side portions, it is possible to reduce the weight without reducing the bending strength and to save on material costs.

It was supported by two fulcrums (the distance between the fulcrums was 1800 mm), and a load of 100 kg was applied to the center between these fulcrums. The amount of deflection in this case was 40 mm.

Also, the length and width are the same as the plate material mentioned above, and the thickness is the same.
A load of 100 kg was applied to a 35 mm plate material having a cross-sectional shape as shown in FIG. 2 under the same conditions as above. The amount of deflection in this case was 24 mm.

As is clear from the above experimental examples, it can be seen that by increasing the plate thickness by only 5 mm, the amount of deflection can be significantly reduced. Therefore, when used as a scaffolding material that normally carries a load of about 100 kg, it is preferably 30 mm or more, especially 35 mm or more, and when used as a shelf for gardening, a thickness of about 30 mm is sufficient. It can be said that the bending strength is as follows.

Note that the present invention is not limited to the illustrated example above, and its cross-sectional shape may be arbitrary. The key point is to leave both sides of the board and reduce the thickness of the other parts. In other words, to reduce the thickness of both sides of the board. Any material that can withstand a predetermined bending load may be used.

As described above, the bending-resistant material plate according to the present invention is first constructed of a glass long fiber reinforced plastic foam in which long glass fibers are dispersed in a heat-reinforced resin foam. It is lightweight and has excellent bending strength compared to the previous model, and since the concave portion is formed along the longitudinal direction leaving both sides of the plate material, it is possible to achieve further weight reduction while maintaining the necessary bending strength, making it suitable for construction sites. It is extremely effective when used in areas where large loads are applied, such as scaffolding materials, floorboards, ceilings, and shelf boards, and it can also be used in many ways, such as reducing costs as it requires less raw materials. be effective.
