Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to transfer each of articles to be coated separately at optional velocity by making up a conveyer to transfer articles to be coated using a linear motor. CONSTITUTION:A number of plate-shaped stators 10, while moving elements 6 being fixed, wherein three-phase coils 12 are wound around iron cores 11 under the under surface of upper boards 7 of a rail 1, are disposed in a longitudinal direction of the rail 1 spaced a slight distance from the moving elements 6 to be secured to the rail 1, whereby a linear motor 5 is formed and by energizing each of the stators 10 with three-phase AC to produce shifting magnetic fields along the longitudinal direction of the rail 1, driving forces to cause the moving elements 6 to move relative to the stators 10 is generated, causing each transfer body 2 to move along the rail 1. And by changing the frequency or voltage of three-phase AC supplied to each of the stator 10, or changing the number of poles of three-phase coils 12 of each of the stators, the velocity of transfer bodies 2 passing near the stators 10 can be adjusted.

Problems to be Solved by the Prior Art and the Invention One of the above-mentioned conveying devices is an endless chain that is routed so as to pass above a painting booth, drying booth, etc. There is a system in which an endless conveyor is formed by connecting hangers, and the object to be coated is suspended from each hanger and the object to be coated is conveyed by circulating the chain. In this type of equipment, the hangers that support each workpiece are connected to one common chain and move together at the same speed, so the conveyance speed of each workpiece can be adjusted. It was not possible to adjust the distance separately for each type of conveyor, or to provide a branch path on the conveyor to convey the object to be coated along an arbitrary route.

Functions and Effects of the Invention The present invention has the above configuration, in which a large number of stators to which three-phase alternating current is energized and movers made of electrically conductive materials are disposed along the conveyance path, and the other is A conveyor consisting of a linear motor is constructed by attaching the motor to each of a number of conveyors that are freely movable along the conveyance route. Each conveyor supports the object to be coated, and the stator is energized with three-phase alternating current. When a moving magnetic field is generated, a driving force for relative movement is applied between the stator and mover, causing each conveyor to move and the workpiece supported by it to be transferred to the conveyor. The conveyance object is moved by changing the relative speed between each stator and mover by changing the frequency and voltage of the three-phase alternating current that energizes each stator. Since the speed can be adjusted arbitrarily, each object to be coated can be conveyed individually at an arbitrary speed, and the conveyor is provided with a branch path that branches off in the middle and joins the conveyor again. This has the effect that the object to be coated can be transported along a desired route.

In the figure, ■ is an endless rail installed in an oval shape at a position higher than the floor surface, and inside the hollow, a large number of carriers 2 with wheels 3 protruding on both sides are mounted. By moving the wheels 3 on the bottom plate 4 of the rail 1, the wheels 3 can move freely in the length direction of the rail l. On the other hand, a plate-shaped stator IO consisting of an iron core Ill and a three-phase coil plate 2 wound around the lower surface of the upper plate 7 of the rail 1 is attached to the movable element 6 and a small A linear motor 5 is formed by arranging and fixing a large number of stators along the length of the rail 1 with corresponding gaps, and connecting each stator 0 to an AC power source (not shown). ■If a moving magnetic field is generated along the length of rail I by applying three-phase alternating current to 0,
A driving force is generated to move the mover 6 relative to the stator 10,
By using this method, each carrier 2 is moved along the length direction of the rail, and the frequency or voltage of the three-phase alternating current that is energized to each stator 10 is changed, or Three-phase coil for each stator 10! By changing the number of poles 2, the speed of the carrier 2 passing near the stator IO can be adjusted.

On the floor, along the route of the conveyor 20, there is a supply position Δ for supplying the object to be coated to the hanger 16, and a coating booth B.
, a drying booth C and a take-out position for the object to be coated a are arranged in this order, and a first turning guide E whose width narrows in the conveyance direction is provided between the supply position and the coating booth B. There are two turning plates 22a projecting from the rotation axis I7 of the hanger 16 at different heights and at right angles to each other.
By engaging the turning plate 22b below 22b, the hanger I6 moves in the conveying direction and rotates around the rotation axis 17 by 9.
It is designed to rotate 0 degrees, and paint booth B
A second turning guide F is provided between the drying booth C and the upper turning plate 22a of the hanger 16, so that the hanger I6 is turned 9 in the opposite direction to the first turning guide E.
It is designed to rotate 0 degrees.

The conveying device configured as described above is configured such that each stator 1o is energized with three-phase alternating current at a predetermined frequency and voltage, and each three-phase coil 12 is set to have a predetermined number of poles. The hanger I6 supported by the transport section XI, Xt, Xs, X4, Xs, X- moves along the rail l at a predetermined speed in each transport section XI, Xt, Xs, X4, Xs, X-, respectively.
1, when the hangers 16 reach the supply position one after another at a constant speed with a predetermined interval between adjacent ones, each hanger 16 has an uncoated workpiece a on its painted surface. suspended with the paper facing perpendicular to the transport direction,
The hanger 16, which has suspended the workpiece a and moved at the same speed as above, is rotated 90 degrees clockwise in FIG. 1 by the first turning guide E, so that the painted surface of the workpiece & The side edges of the adjacent objects to be painted & and a are brought closer to each other in parallel with each other, and in this state, paint is applied by the spray gun 25 to the painted surface of the object to be painted, which is transported into the painting booth B. The coated workpiece λ coming out of B is accelerated in the conveyance section and transported to drying booth C.
In the transport section x4, the hanger 16 passes through the second turning guide F while decelerating, so that the direction of the painted surface of the object to be painted becomes perpendicular to the transport direction, and
The distance between the object to be coated λ and the preceding object to be coated 1 is narrowed, and in the conveyance section
By being conveyed at a low speed, it takes a long time to pass through the interior, and is sufficiently dried. The dried object a is accelerated in the conveyance section After widening the distance from the hanger I6, the conveyance section x1 is reached, and the hanger I6 is removed from the hanger I6, which moves at a constant speed at the take-out position, and after this, only the hanger 16 reaches the feeding position while maintaining a constant speed. By repeating the above operations, the object to be coated (a) is coated and dried continuously.

In this way, since the conveyance speed of each object to be painted can be adjusted individually, when changing colors, it is possible to adjust the conveyance speed of each object to be painted before and after the color change without interrupting the conveyance. By increasing the distance between a and a, it is possible to prevent Group 8i paint from adhering to each painted surface.

Further, as another embodiment of the present invention, for example, two types of objects to be coated with different areas coated in the same coating booth may be dried in different drying booths, requiring different times. In such a case, a branch conveyor with a drying booth installed in the middle of the conveyor 20 shown in Fig. 1 may be used to branch between the coating booth B and the drying booth C, and also to the take-out position and the supply position. An arbitrary object to be coated may be guided to a desired side of the conveyor by means such as providing a movable guide provided at a branch point so as to join the conveyor 20 in a predetermined direction.

The present invention is applicable not only to the case where the object to be painted a is transported by hanging it from a hanger I6 provided at a high position, but also to the case where the object to be painted is placed on the upper surface of a conveyor provided at a low position. It can also be applied to cases where the device is transported in a placed state.
