来形との相違する点は、ワシヤ20の下面側の突
条13を4辺のそれぞれに2条ずつ設けるととも
にその断面形状を台形としたことである。詳述す
るとまず突条の台形の断面形状は対称形ではなく
下面と直角な面に対しての傾きが2条の内側(対
向側)が30゜に、外側が15゜にそれぞれなつてい
る。つぎに突条13の頂辺の幅Eと2条の間隔L
とはL/E>2にして突条の高さH(外側の一番
高い個所)と頂辺の幅EとはE/L=0.5〜1の
関係にそれぞれ選ばれている。なおそれぞれの突
条13は前述したようにワシヤの外縁側が高く内
側が低くH>Kに形成され、接続電線がねじ10
により締付けられたときに内側への力が加わるよ
うになつているとともに、接続電線の線径が太く
なつた場合には食い込みが深くなるようになつて
いる。これらの寸法や形状は実験の積重ねの結果
であり、ワシヤ20に使用された鋼材と接続電線
30を構成する鋼材との強度の違いに基くもので
ある。すなわちL/E≦2の場合には引き抜きに
対して接続電線30の切断が圧倒的に多く、また
断面を前述の台形にして高さHと幅EとをH/E
=0.5〜1にしたことによりねじ10による締付
時の食い付きがよくなり、かつ応力集中が少なく
なることから、接続電線30の引き抜き力が大幅
に増すとともにばらつきが少なくなる。以上の結
果を従来形と比較したのが第8図で、横軸にねじ
10の締付トルクTを、縦軸に接続電線30の引
き抜き力Pをそれぞれとり示されている。そして
図でも明らかなように両者の間には引き抜き力に
おいて約2倍に増強され、またばらつきにおいて
半減されたことになる。したがつて切断のおそれ
は排除され、組立の自動化を含めたねじ10の締
付トルクの管理のみで、ばらつきが少なくして引
き抜き力の強化された接続状態が得られる。
