自動車内装材の製造法において、前記表皮材料をオーナ
メント部材と表皮材とよりなるものとして一方の型の該
オーナメント部材と表皮材との見切位置に対応する部分
をスライドコアにより形成するとともに、他方の型には
該スライドコアに向け前記オーナメント部材と表皮材の
見切位置を押し付ける押付部を設けておき、型開きされ
ている両型間に前記スライドコア上に端縁が位置するオ
ーナメント部材と前記一方の型を略全面的に覆う表皮材
とをセットして型合わせ後に前記押付部をもってオーナ
メント部材の端縁に表皮材の見切位置を押し付けながら
該オーナメント部材と表皮材との裏側からキャビティ部
に成形材料を供給し、その後前記スライドコアを後退さ
せて前記見切位置の裏側とスライドコア間に形成される
空隙に成形材料を供給して成形基材の成形と同時にその
表面をオーナメント部材と表皮材とで貼り分けるように

を大幅に簡略化でき、しかも、成形基材を複雑な凹凸形
状としても見切位置がすっきりと仕上り、皺寄ったり端
縁のほつれが生したりすることもないので製品仕上りも
