2. Description of the Related Art Model aircraft have been known that use balsa wood for the fuselage and paper or thin plastic plates for the main wings. FIG. 1 is a partial diagram of the conventional structure. The body 1 is made by cutting out a plate-shaped balsa wood in the longitudinal direction of the wood grain. The main wing 2 is made by cutting out paper such as Kent paper or a thin plastic board. This main wing 2 is glued to the fuselage 1. A hole 3 for a weight is provided in the body 1, the hole 3 is filled with a weight, and a paper lid 4 is pasted from the outside.

Balsa wood has the advantage of being lighter than paper and having greater bending rigidity as a material for the body, but it can be easily cut with a cutter etc.
It has the disadvantage that it easily breaks when opened, making it difficult to process. Additionally, when this model aircraft is flown, the nose section made of batsa wood may hit the ground and break when it lands. Furthermore, in order to attach the main wings 2 to the fuselage 1, the upper surface of the fuselage 1 is narrow, so there is not enough adhesive area. For this reason,
The main wing may separate due to wind pressure during flight or the impact of landing.

Due to its weight, its flight time was shortened, and the main wing was a so-called mid-wing type, which had the disadvantage of being inferior to the high-wing type in terms of flight stability as a model airplane.

The structure is characterized by a structure in which the outer circumferential shape of the body is attached so as to match the outer circumferential shape of the body, and the body and the plate are provided with holes of the same shape for attaching weights that pass through them in common. .

The body 1 is made by cutting out a thick plate of balsa wood in the longitudinal direction of the wood grain. Kent paper boards 5 are attached to both sides of the nose of the fuselage 1, respectively. That is, this paper board material 5 is provided with a convex portion 6 that serves as a main wing mounting base in a part thereof,
The convex portions 6 are each bent outward. Further, the outer circumferential shape of this paper board 5 is made to be equal to the outer circumferential shape of the nose portion of the fuselage 1, except for the convex portion 6 and the rear portion 7 which is the cut portion. These two plates 5 are attached to both sides of the body 1 by gluing to the inner front surface of the plates 5 so that their outer peripheral shapes match.

At this time, if the area of the convex portion 6 is kept large, the bonding area between the main wing 2 and the fuselage 1 will be large, and the bond will be strong.

If the plate material 5 is attached to the rear part, the center of gravity will shift to the rear, and in order to adjust this, it will be necessary to further increase the weight at the nose, which will increase the overall weight and shorten the flight time. It is sufficient to reinforce the plate material 5 up to the edges.

In addition, it is possible to create a model aircraft that has a long flight time by reducing the overall weight, and has excellent stability because it can be made into a high-wing model aircraft.
