[Detailed Description of the Invention] Conventionally, a large number of mounting holes in a disc are offset in the radial direction and rotational direction, and columnar blade holders are inserted and fixed into the mounting holes, respectively. We have already proposed a desk chipper with individual cutting blades attached to it.

The method of inserting and fixing the blade holder into the mounting hole does not require directly machining a complex-shaped cutout on the disc, and a simple-shaped mounting hole is bored in the disc,
Since a small holder can be machined separately on the assembly line, costs can be significantly reduced, and when the blade edge wears out, only the blade holder can be replaced, allowing the expensive disk to be used as is. There are advantages.

However, if the cutting width is narrowed too much, the number of holders will increase, making machining cumbersome and requiring the same number of mounting holes. If these are drilled into the disc, the front and rear mounting holes will overlap and become continuous, reducing the strength of the disc. Since the size of the cutting blade would be extremely small, the cutting blade had to be widened, and the blade holder and the hole into which it was inserted were made large to hold it.

However, wide cutting blades do not dig into the wood well, and in order to prevent uncut edges, the rotational trajectories of the front and rear cutting blades must partially overlap, so each cutting blade must be cut a certain amount from the surface of the disk. Even if they are made to protrude, the cutting surface of each cutting blade becomes step-like as shown in Figure 4, and the chip that is cut out has thin ear-shaped parts at both ends, as shown in Figure 5, where the fiber length is short. This produced dust which became dust during the sorting process and the transfer process, resulting in a disadvantage that the yield of chips was poor.

As a result of various studies to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks, the inventor of the present invention drilled a plurality of mounting holes in the disk with deviations in the radial direction and rotational direction, and fitted a columnar blade holder into each of the mounting holes. In the desk chipper that is inserted and fixed, the blade opening of the blade holder is
By arranging a plurality of receiving surfaces one after another with steps in front and behind each other, and attaching a cutting blade to each of the receiving surfaces, the cutting blades can penetrate extremely well, and a stepped portion is formed on the cutting surface. This resulted in almost no or extremely small problems, and it was possible to prevent short sections of fibers or the like from forming at both ends of the chip as much as possible.

Moreover, some chips cut with a wide cutting blade have an abnormally wide width, and when they are sorted through a sieve, wide chips remain on the sorting screen. Although it must be reprocessed, if multiple narrow cutting blades are attached to one blade holder with steps at the front and back and cut wood as described above, the width of the chip will become narrower and there will be more chips in the thickness direction. To improve the adaptability to chemical treatment in the pulping process due to cracks, to miniaturize the reprocessing equipment, to significantly reduce the amount of dust generated by reprocessing, and to improve the yield of high-quality chips. was completed.

The embodiments shown in the drawings will be explained below.
Reference numeral 1 denotes a disc of a desk chipper, and a plurality of circular mounting holes 2 are bored in the disc surface so as to be offset in the radial direction and rotational direction. A cutlery holder 3 is inserted thereinto, and its flange portion 3a is screwed onto the disc 1 with bolts.

Then, on the rear surface of the blade opening 4 provided in the blade holder 3, a plurality of receiving surfaces 5 each having a width of 40 mm are provided in a stepped manner by sequentially retracting 5 mm each toward the center of the disc 1. Each receiving surface 5 has a screw hole 6, and each cutting blade 7 has a width equal to that of the receiving surface 5, and is mounted with the side surfaces tightly joined. The rotation locus of the cutting blade 7 closest to the center and the cutting blade 7 closest to the outside of the next blade holder 3 overlaps by 0.1 to 1 mm, and the line perpendicular to the side edge of the cutting blade 7 is a disc. It matches the radius of 1.

Note that the width of the receiving surface 5 and the cutting blade 7 is wide for cedar wood, which easily cracks, and narrow for hard-to-break wood such as hardwood, and the width of the front and rear steps is 5 to 5.
The cutting speed is lower on the center side than on the outer periphery, making it difficult to crack the chip, so it is better to make the outer periphery wider and the center side wider.

In addition, although the direction of the line perpendicular to the side edge of the cutting blade 7 is generally the radial direction of the disc 1, the rotation of the blade holder 3 is adjusted and a plurality of holes 8 bored on the outer periphery... Choose one from each group, or
Alternatively, screws may be inserted into elongated holes instead of the plurality of holes 8 and fixed at an angle with respect to the radial direction in which they are screwed.

Furthermore, if the blade holder 3 and the mounting hole 2 are made into a rectangular shape elongated in the radial direction of the disc 1, that is, into a prismatic shape, the diameter of the disc 1 can be made smaller, and even with this configuration, there is no change in cutting performance. do not have.

Next, to explain another example of the receiving surface 5 of the blade mouth 4, the one shown in FIG. The one shown in FIG. 6b has the middle receiving surface 5 connected to the receiving surfaces 5, 5 on both sides
The one shown in FIG. 6c has a step-like configuration in which the receiving surface 5 on the center side of the disk is placed in a more anterior position than the receiving surface 5 on the outer side.

In the desk chipper mentioned above, when wood is inserted into the casing from the spout, each cutting blade 7 attached to one blade holder 3 cuts into the wood in a narrow width, and at that time, all the cutting blades 7... do not cut into the wood at the same time, so the impact when biting is smaller than that of the conventional method of cutting with a wide cutting blade, and the cutting blade 7... When cutting into wood, the cutting blades cut back and forth.

The present invention provides a desk chipper in which a plurality of mounting holes are formed in a disc so as to be offset in the radial direction and rotational direction as described above, and columnar blade holders are inserted and fixed into the respective mounting holes. A plurality of receiving surfaces are arranged in a row at the cutting edge of the blade holder with steps in front and behind each other, and a cutting blade is attached to each of the receiving surfaces, so that each cutting blade 7 has a narrow width and Adjacent pieces cut smoothly into the wood one after the other, which prevents the wood from moving back timidly, and the cutting thickness becomes thinner, causing the fiber length of the chip to become abnormally short, and the wood to cut into the wood smoothly. To obtain high-quality chips by preventing the occurrence of a step on the cutting surface between adjacent blade holders 3 and 3 at the rear position, and ultimately preventing the generation of chips having ears with short fiber lengths at both ends. It is possible to improve the yield rate.

Further, the width of the chip does not become significantly wide, and the width of the chip can be narrowed to reduce the amount of reprocessing described above, and chips with good cracks can be obtained.
