[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial field of application] When transporting a highly viscous fluid such as C heavy oil using a pipeline, the fluid is heated beforehand to ensure smooth flow. In order to prevent the fluid from losing its smoothness as the temperature drops, it is transferred using a double-walled insulated pipe line surrounded by an insulating material, but this method has previously been extremely difficult to detect. The present invention relates to a detachable leakage detection device for detecting leakage in a heat-insulated pipeline of this kind.

[Prior Art] Conventional leakage detection devices for insulated pipelines have been designed to detect all of the heat insulating material filled between the inner pipe and the exterior member of the insulated pipeline, as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-221143. This system is designed to detect leakage by fixing it across the pipeline and installing a leakage detection mechanism. However, this method has the disadvantage that when the detection mechanism becomes damaged or obsolete and needs to be replaced, it is not possible to replace just the defective part. Although it would be sufficient to install a detection mechanism at the connection point, there was a drawback in that the detection mechanism had to be installed throughout the entire pipeline.

The present invention was developed in view of the above-mentioned shortcomings of the conventional technology, and provides a leakage detection device that can efficiently install a detection mechanism in a location where a leakage accident is likely to occur, and that makes it easy to replace components of the detection mechanism such as sensors. This is what we are trying to provide.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, the present invention provides a bottomed perforated cylinder that can be attached and held in an insulated pipe line with a heat insulating material arranged around the outer periphery of a liquid-conducting inner pipe, and that has a through hole in its side wall. A leak detection device for an insulated pipe line, comprising: a leak detection sensor supported within the bottomed perforated cylinder; and a leak detector connected to the sensor via a lead wire whose one end is electrically connected to the sensor. Configure.

[Function] According to the present invention, the bottomed perforated cylindrical body that can be installed and held in the heat insulating material as described above can be used in locations where the probability of leakage is high in the heat insulated pipes, such as the welded joints of the inner pipe for liquid passage. Since it can be installed, it is possible to detect leaks in insulated pipelines, which is economical and easy to maintain. If the bottomed and perforated cylindrical body is made removable, or the leakage detection sensor is made removable from the bottomed and perforated cylindrical body, maintenance becomes even easier.

In addition, the bottomed perforated cylinder that surrounds the sensor protects the sensor, and at the same time prevents fluid from flowing in through the heat insulating material from leaking outside the vicinity of the sensor. The leakage of the fluid is detected by passing through the through hole and reaching the sensor.

In this case, the fluid leak detection mechanism using the sensor is, for example, as described in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-30848, when fluid leaks into the sensor and the resistance between the electrodes formed on the sensor increases. Various leakage detection methods are possible, such as those that take advantage of changes, optical methods, pulse reflection methods, short circuit detection methods, and float methods.

A bottomed perforated cylindrical body 5 with a leak detection sensor 1 mounted therein is attached. The bottom plate 2 of the bottomed perforated cylinder 5 is made of an elastic material such as plastic, and is fitted into the hole 14 in the example shown, but it may also be made of metal such that it can be screwed into the hole 14, joined by a flange, or fitted with a support piece. , and can be attached by various other means. Leak detection sensor 1 inside bottomed perforated cylinder 5 at one end of lead wire 3 for leak detection
The other end is connected to the leakage detector 4 to form a leakage detection device 8. The bottomed perforated cylindrical body 5 surrounds and protects the outer periphery of the leakage detection sensor 1, and at the same time has a through hole 6 in the side wall so that fluid due to leakage outside the vicinity of the sensor can flow in through the heat insulating material 11 and be detected. It is held and suspended from the outer periphery of the inner fluid tube 10 by a pair of arcuate elastic rods 7 provided at the upper end. The leakage detection sensor 1 is screwed onto the bottom plate of the bottomed and perforated cylinder 5 and is removable, and the bottomed and perforated cylinder 5 is also removable.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the cylinder with a bottom and a hole that supports the leak detection sensor inside can be attached and held in the heat insulating material, thereby reducing the size of the leak detection device to a leak detection device. In addition, by making the bottomed and perforated cylinder body removable and the leakage detection sensor removable from the bottomed and perforated cylinder body, it is easier to replace equipment components such as the leakage detection sensor. Not only can reliability reduction due to contamination such as the like be quickly dealt with, but also leakage outside the vicinity of the leakage detection sensor can be detected while the bottomed perforated cylinder protects the leakage detection sensor.

It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, and of course various changes can be made within the technical idea of the present invention, such as the structure and installation method of the leak detection device.
