Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow tilting operation of a pipe skimmer manually regardless of the operation of a scum scraper by providing a clutch which can be manually operated between a link mechanism which tilts the pipe scum skimmer by operation of the scum scraper and the pipe scum skimmer. CONSTITUTION:The front tilting and resetting motions of the pipe scum skimmer 5 are usually executed automatically via a lever, rod, a shaft 47, a rod 49 and the clutch 7 by movement of strikers projected to a chain. However, the skimmer 5 can be operated independently from the scraper 2 when the clutch 7 is disengaged by an operating lever 72 at the time when the skimmer 5, etc., are clogged or in case of repairing and inspecting the skimmer 5 or at the time of operating the skimmer discretely from the sludge scraper 2. The skimmer 5 is, therefore, capable of maintaining the stop state or allow random control of the tilting action even during the operation of the scraper 2. Since the tilting of the skimmer 5 in the disengaged state of the clutch is executed by manual operation of the lever 73, the skimmer 5 can be tilted and the capturing of the scum or stopping thereof is possible regardless of the operation of the scraper 2.

The scum skimmer in the sedimentation basin has a scum collection hole bored on one outer circumferential surface in the longitudinal direction, and the scum collection hole is always facing upward, and when collecting scum, the pipe scum skimmer is tilted forward and floats on the water surface. I'm trying to collect scum. Generally, this pipe scum skimmer is periodically and manually rotated to open and close the scum collection hole, and this opening and closing operation is performed by a worker periodically or by detecting the amount of floating scum.

This has the disadvantage that it requires too much effort on the part of the workers, and it is necessary to automate the operations that are previously performed manually. This demand is strong even for existing equipment, and it is desired that existing equipment can be easily modified. In order to solve these problems, a method has been proposed in which the scum skimmer is automatically opened and closed using electric or hydraulic operation, but this method has the problem that a separate energy source must be prepared. There is.

In addition, without using any other power, the flight drive power of the sludge scraper installed in the settling basin is used to automatically rotate the scum skimmer, open and close it, and collect the scum floating on the upstream side of the scum skimmer. A method to do so has also been proposed.

A scum skimmer driving device that transmits the driving force of a main body chain of a sludge scraper installed in a settling tank to the scum skimmer through a transmission device to collect the scum skimmer and stop the collection. A striker provided at a predetermined position on the main body chain, two link mechanisms that contact the strikers provided on each side of the two main body chains to obtain rotational force in mutually opposite directions, and two links. It consists of a drive shaft that collects the rotational force obtained by the mechanism, and a clutch that transmits the rotational force of the driveshaft as rotational force to the pipe scum skimmer or disconnects it.

In the figure, 1 is a sedimentation tank, and 2 is a sludge scraper installed in the longitudinal direction of this sedimentation tank or in any direction. A large number of flights 23 are arranged at regular or arbitrary intervals on the main body chains 22a, 22b. The flight 23 scrapes up the scum floating on the water surface toward the other end and other scum removal positions, and scrapes up the sludge that has settled on the pond bottom toward the discharge port. This flight 23
has two main body chains 22a whose ends are parallel to each other,

On the other hand, the positions and pitches of the strikers 3a, 3b provided in the chains 22a, 22b of each strip are set according to the predetermined cycles of the forward tilting-return movement and backward tilting-return movement of the scum skimmer. That is, the striker 3a provided in the main body chain 22a works together with a link mechanism described later to rotate the scum skimmer upstream (tilting forward), and at the same time returns the skimmer that has rotated downstream (tilting backward) to its normal position. It also plays the role of The striker 3b provided in the other chain 22b returns the skimmer that has tilted forward and tilts the skimmer backward. As shown in the figure, these strikers 3a and 3b are provided to protrude from the outer surface of each chain 22a and 22b, and regardless of the pitch of the flight 23, each chain 22a

In the above embodiment, the pipe scum skimmer 5 is tilted forward and backward to both the upstream and downstream sides of the pipe scum skimmer 5 to remove scum floating on the upstream and downstream sides of the pipe scum skimmer. However, it is also applicable to a method in which the scum skimmer is tilted only to the upstream side, and the direction in which the scum skimmer is tilted is not limited.

As a result, when the water on the water surface flows into the scum collection port 5H located below the water surface, the scum floating on the water surface simultaneously overflows the floating weir 8 and flows into the scum skimmer. After the scum skimmer is tilted upstream for a predetermined period of time, that is, after the floating scum is removed, the striker 3b provided on the other chain 22b kicks the arm 42b, and the pipe scum skimmer 5 collects the scum. The opening 5H returns to its normal position on the top surface, and this is done at predetermined intervals by operating the scum scraper 2.

The forward tilting and return movement of the pipe scum skimmer 5 is normally performed by moving a striker protruding from the chain, which moves the lever, rod, shaft 47. This is done automatically via the rod 49 and clutch 7. However, when the pipe scum skimmer etc. is clogged, or when repairing and inspecting the scum skimmer, when operating it separately from the sludge scraper 2, operating the bar 72 to disengage the clutch 7 will clear the pipe scum skimmer. - can be operated independently with the sludge scraper. Therefore, even if the sludge scraper 2 is in operation, the pipe scum skimmer 5
It is possible to maintain a stationary state or to operate its tilting motion randomly. The pipe scum skimmer 5 is tilted with the clutch released by manually operating the lever 73. As a result, the pipe scum skimmer can be tilted regardless of the operation of the sludge scraper, and the scum collection or scum collection stop operation can be performed.

The second embodiment shown in Figures 3 to 5 is a two-story sedimentation tank, in which the scum skimmer shown in Figures 1 and 2 is installed on each floor, but on the lower floor. The pipe scum skimmer 5 is arranged at the water surface position in the same way as in the embodiments shown in Figs. The rod 49 connected via the rod 44b, lever 45b1, shaft 47, and lever 48 is made longer than the lever 43b, and is arranged almost vertically so as to reach the vibe scum skimmer 5 at the water surface position from the lower level. Since the mechanism and operation other than changing the length and arrangement direction of the lot 49 are the same as those in the first embodiment, detailed structure and operation explanation thereof will be omitted.

According to the present invention, a manually operable clutch is interposed between the link mechanism for tilting the pipe scum skimmer and the pipe scum skimmer during operation of the scum scraper, so that the operation of the scum scraper can be easily controlled. There is an advantage that the vibration cam skimmer can be manually tilted without any delay.
