クレセントと別体に形成してアタツチメント形式

形成したものとがあるので、まず既設のクレセン
トをそのまゝ使用できるアタツチメント形式の取
手H1から説明を進める。

ト5の基部には、クレセント本体1の取手部1a
に嵌合する同形の割溝8が設けられ、この割溝8
に矢印図示の如く側方からクレセント本体1の取
手部1aを挿入し、取手部1aの一側に設けた切
欠部1bに抜け止め金具6の側壁6bを係合させ
て当該金具6を上方より嵌着した後、止ネジ7で
抜け止め金具6を締付けることによつてクレセン
ト本体1の取手部1aからアタツチメント5が抜
け出さないように連結固定してある。そして、前
記アタツチメント5の取手H1は、通常の長さL、
即ち従来のクレセントに設けられている取手部1
aの長さの数倍に延長し、この延長部9を第1図
図示の如く旋錠位置に於いて基部10から上方へ
垂直に突出する主杆11と室内側に向かつて斜め
上方に突出する副杆12とに分岐させ、主副両杆
11,12の先端部11a,12aは取手H2
操作性を考えてやゝ内側に折曲し、副杆12の先
端部に下方に垂下する鎖13を設け、鎖13の下
端部に握錘14が附設してある。

爪1cが外れるので、障子を自由に開閉できるよ
うになる。また、障子を閉鎖した後、クレセント

旦上方に向かつて手が伸びる位置まで回動させ、

例えば台所の出窓のように手の届きにくい場所に
装着されているクレセント錠でも、室内側に向か
つて斜めに突出している主副両杆のいずれかを操
作し、これを誰でも容易に旋錠及び解錠すること
が出来、然も解錠直後の取手はそのまゝ内障子の
引手として障子の開閉に使用できるため非常に好
都合であり、また本考案の取手は、従来のように
構造が複雑で動作に難点のある遠隔操縦装置や電
動装置を用いずに、あくまでも取手自体の改良に
よりクレセントの操作性を向上したものなので、
構造が簡単で生産コストが安く実用性が高いなど
優れた利点を併有するものである。
