- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 回転自在の複数本の刃具を保持していて、被加
工物に対して進退自在に設けられた多軸ヘツドを
有する多軸ボール盤において、 上記複数本の刃具個々に対応して設けられた刃
具センサと、 これらの刃具センサを保持して上記被加工物と
上記多軸ヘツドとの間に配設されていて、多軸ヘ
ツドの移動方向と略直交する向きに移動可能であ
つて、上記刃具センサを刃具の移動軌跡上又は移
動軌跡に近接する位置から退避させて各刃具セン
サを非検知位置に位置させる退避位置と上記刃具
センサを上記刃具に当接又は近接させる検知位置
に上記刃具センサを位置させる検知位置に上記刃
具センサを位置させる作動位置に位置させるセン
サホルダと、 このセンサホルダを上記退避位置と作動位置と
の間に選択的に位置させる移動機構と、 上記センサホルダが上記作動位置に置かれたと
き上記刃具センサの信号を取り込む制御回路とか
らなる多軸ボール盤の刃具検知装置。
