"Conventional technology" In mountainous areas, rivers with steep gradients (gradient of 1/70
Attempts are being made to use the water (up to 1/90) to construct swimming pools for elementary and junior high schools and towns and villages. However, it has been difficult to construct such a pool because sand flows into or accumulates in the pool during abnormal water outflows such as floods, and this must be manually drained out of the pool.

``Problems to be Solved by the Invention'' The present invention aims at reducing the water flow rate of river water to normal levels by reducing the accumulation of sand and sediment that flowed into a swimming pool formed by damming a river during abnormal water outflows such as floods. The aim is to create a full-fledged swimming pool that can be washed away naturally.

"Means for Solving the Problems" The present invention forms a concrete pool bottom on a riverbed, and surrounds the pool bottom with end walls perpendicular to the flow direction and left and right side walls parallel to the flow direction to form a pool. An inflow hole that can be opened and closed is provided on the upstream end wall, a bypass channel that can be opened and closed is provided on the outside of the side wall, and an overflow port is provided on the same side wall, and a drainage gate that can be opened and closed is provided on the downstream end wall. A shutter is provided, and the bottom surface of the gate is provided on an extension of the bottom of the pool, forming a downward slope toward the downstream side of the bottom of the pool, and the same slope is approximately the same slope as the slope of the river bottom. It consists of a swimming pool using a river, which is provided with a reserve pool for forming the water level of the water drawn into the pool on the upstream side of the upstream end wall.

``Operation'' Therefore, when the shutter of the drain gate provided on the downstream end wall is closed and the bypass waterway is closed, water accumulates in the reserve pool and its water level rises, and the water level rises above the inlet hole on the upstream end wall. Therefore, when the inflow hole is opened, river water accumulates in the pool, and surplus water is discharged from the overflow port to maintain the water level of the pool. In this state, when the inflow hole is closed, water at a predetermined level accumulates in the pool. By opening the bypass waterway, river water is discharged from the waterway downstream of the pool, and the pool can be used for swimming because it does not affect the water level or still water in the pool. When a river reaches an abnormal water level such as a flood, water flows over the pool and sand settles or accumulates within the pool. However, when the abnormal water level drops and returns to normal water level, the shutter is raised to open the drain gate and the inflow hole in the upstream end wall and close the bypass waterway, and the accumulated water in the pool flows out from the gate all at once. The river water further flowing in through the inflow hole can wash away the sand and accumulated sand at the bottom of the sloping pool downstream, allowing it to be naturally discharged downstream from the pool through the gate. After the water is discharged, when the shutter is lowered and the gate is closed, the water accumulates in the pool up to the water level, so the inlet hole in the upstream end wall is closed, the bypass waterway is opened, and the pool can be used as a swimming pool.

"Example" A concrete pool bottom 2 having the same slope as the river bottom 1 is formed in a river with a relatively steep slope. Its inclination (gradient) is about 1/70 to 1/90. This pool bottom 2 has a rectangular shape long in the direction of flow, and has upright end walls 3 and 4 at the upstream and downstream ends, and upright side walls 5 and 6 on both left and right sides to surround the pool bottom 2 and form a rectangular pool 7. can be formed. A river water inflow hole 14 is bored in the upstream end wall 4, and a stopper or valve 1 is provided.
This can be opened and closed with 5 etc. A drainage gate 10 is opened at the lower part of the downstream end wall 3, and the bottom surface 12 of the gate 10 is formed by the extension surface of the pool bottom 2. A lift shutter 11 is disposed at the downstream opening of the gate 10. A sealing rubber 16 is arranged in the shape of a gate on the front side of the shutter 11, and a downward sealing rubber 16' is provided on the lower edge, and as shown in FIG. Gate 10 will be closed. A wedge surface 17 is provided on the back surface of the shutter 11, and the wedge surface 17 is guided by an inclined guide 18 to lower the shutter 11 and press it against the door stop surface side to close it. By opening the inflow hole 14, river water can be drawn into the pool 7 and stored therein. The reservoir water level is kept constant by overflow from the spill water outlets provided in the side walls 5 and 6. In that state, the inflow hole 14
It can be closed and used as a swimming pool 7. In this state, river water flowing down from the upstream passes through a bypass channel 8 formed outside the side walls 5 and 6 and is discharged downstream of the pool 7. Of course, when river water is drawn into the pool 7 from the inflow hole 14, the opening of the waterway 8 is closed by a corner drop 19, or partially closed depending on the amount of water, and the amount of water entering the waterway 8 is adjusted. The number 20 in the figure is the reserve pool 1.

4 is the ramp, 25 is the stairs, 26 is the shutter 1
1 is a lifting cylinder, 27 is a cylinder insertion groove frame provided on the back surface of the shutter 11, and 28 is an embankment.

``Effects'' Since the present invention is configured as described above, it is possible not only to easily and inexpensively construct a swimming pool 7 in a river in a town or village with relatively narrow land in a mountainous area, but also to construct a backup pool 1.
3, the water can be easily drawn into the pool 7, and the river water that has returned to normal can be drained into the pool 7 by opening the gate 10 to remove the sediment accumulated in the pool during abnormal water levels such as floods. This allows it to be naturally drained out of the pool.
