2. Description of the Related Art Hanger conveyance systems, in which articles are conveyed by a hanger suspended from an overhead rail by a support pulley and tightly engaged with a circulating belt, are often used in, for example, sewing factories.
FIG. 2 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of the entire hanger conveyance system in the above application. 1 is an overhead room, 2 is a pulley 2a on the rail 1
The hanger carrier 3 supported by the carrier 2 is a hanger that is suspended from the carrier 2 and has a clamp 4 at its lower part that detachably grips the sewn product workpiece W. Reference numeral 5 denotes an endless circulation belt (shown as a line) for driving the mast whose path is closed via a plurality of pulleys 6 and 7, and the drive pulley 6 is driven in the direction of the arrow by, for example, a motor M with a reduction gear. be done. The carrier 2 is driven in the direction in which the belt 5 is circulated by being directly engaged with the belt 5 by means of a front plate (not specifically shown) which is fixed to the carrier facing the belt 5 . For this reason, the rail 1 that supports the carrier 2 needs to maintain proper engagement between the front plate of the carrier 2 and the belt 5 at all times, so the rail 1 and the belt 5 always maintain a proper fixed relative relationship. Constructed to maintain position. The sewing machine stations for each sewing process are, for example, S 1 , S 2 ,
S 3 ... etc. are arranged inside the closed path of the overhead rail 1, and the required number of carriers 2 (and hangers 3) for the workpiece W (the figure shows only one)
provided. The sewn product work W held by the clamp 4 of one hanger 3 may be singular or plural.

In the above-mentioned mass-driven hanger conveyance system using a circulation belt, the material of the belt 5 is usually made of trowel, cloth, or urethane rubber, so it is susceptible to initial elongation when newly installed and elongation over time during use. Therefore, a belt tension adjustment device (belt tension mechanism) (not particularly shown) is provided to maintain the tension within an appropriate range at all times. The above-mentioned problems due to elongation of the belt are particularly likely to occur in straight sections with long spans when the belt has a planar shape with a closed circulation path as shown in FIG. Although this varies depending on the vehicle, the conditions for the mating engagement with the mating plate fixed to the carrier 2 change due to the central part sagging or falling sideways due to its own weight, etc. This has the disadvantage that the transmission of the driving force becomes uncertain, and as a result, the length of the span is essentially limited to several meters, resulting in a loss of flexibility in system layout.

In order to solve these problems, conventionally, the third
The method shown in the figure is used. That is, a tension pulley 8 is provided approximately at the center of the long span L 1 in the closed loop of the circulation belt, and guide pulleys 9 are provided on both sides of the tension pulley 8, and the tension pulley 8 is configured to be adjustable in the direction of the arrow. This attempt is made to shorten each span by dividing it into two equal parts (more than two equal parts if necessary) to avoid the above-mentioned adverse effects.

However, in the conventional countermeasure method as described above, the distance l between both guide pulleys 9 cannot be made zero, and a certain length is required due to the mechanism. For this reason, the contact plate of the carrier 2 with the belt is cut off during the above distance l, so in principle, the running inertia of the low speed carrier 2 on the horizontally arranged rail 1 alone can cover the above distance l. Since the sewing machine cannot be passed by inertia and stops, it requires input or other auxiliary means, which has the disadvantage that the layout design of the hanger conveyance system centered on the sewing machine station is restricted.

This idea was created in view of the problems mentioned above, and it prevents displacement/deformation of the belt regardless of the length of the span, and temporarily improves the condition of direct contact with the carrier main plate. The purpose is to provide a belt tension mechanism that never breaks.

Therefore, in this invention, a pair of guide pulleys is provided in the long span section of the belt path, and a tension pulley disposed inside the belt path loop between both pulleys pulls the belt into the loop. In order to divide a long span into multiple short spans and compensate for the part of the belt that lacks contact with the carrier plate in the circulation path, the outer periphery of the pair of guide pulleys and the separate pulley is triangular. A separate endless belt that circumscribes the shape provides a portion to replace the missing portion, so that contact with the masonry plate is not interrupted.

In this embodiment, the overhead rail 1
is a round bar member with a circular cross section, and the circulating endless belt 5 and the separate belt 13 are so-called V-belts with a V-shaped cross section. In Figure 1, 1
0 and 10a are two-weight V-pulleys arranged opposite to each other in one long span of the closed path loop of the circulation belt 5, and 11 is a tension pulley arranged inside the loop. As shown in the figure, the belt 5 is pulled into the loop by this pulley 11. This pulley 11 is desirably mounted so as to be adjustable in position in the retraction direction, and thereby can also serve as a tension adjustment mechanism for the entire circulation belt. Also 12
is a V-pulley separately provided further inside the loop of the tension pulley 11, and a separate endless V-belt 13 having the same cross-sectional size as the circulation belt 5 connects this pulley 12 and both guide pulleys 10, 10a.
The belt 13 is wound so as to circumscribe each upper groove of the circulation belt 5.
Since it is driven in the same direction as the circulation belt 5 between this area instead of the retracted part between 0 and 10a, the direct engagement of the front plate fixed to the carrier 2 with the circulation belt 5 is not interrupted. do not have. The vertical height of the above-mentioned masatsu board is the upper and lower two stages of belts 5 and 1.
Of course, it has a size that sufficiently covers both widths of 3. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 14 indicates one of the regular guide pulleys for the circulation belt 5.

As explained above, according to the belt tension mechanism of this invention, even when the belt span distance forming the carrier conveyance path is long, by arranging the desired number of sets of this mechanism, belt deformation and Since it is possible to prevent negative effects on the driving conditions caused by displacement, the linear span of the hanger rail can theoretically be made infinite, providing great flexibility in the layout design of the hanger conveyance system. Now I can do it.
