[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing decorative veneers obtained by artificially processing raw material veneers, and its purpose is to produce decorative veneers obtained from natural wood. We would like to contribute to the development of the world by providing a manufacturing method that can easily produce artificial decorative veneers that closely resemble natural decorative veneers, which are created by grinding thin pieces of wood to reveal irregularities. It is something to do.

Conventionally, the method for obtaining this type of decorative veneer with an uneven pattern is to alternately laminate veneers made of materials with different hardness with an adhesive interposed, and then integrate them to form a laminate. Cutting things into thin pieces,
Next, the surface of the thin piece was ground to create a decorative veneer by making the hard material veneer part into a convex part and the soft material veneer part into a concave part.

However, in the conventional manufacturing method for decorative veneers mentioned above, it is necessary to select material veneers with appropriate hardness differences, which limits the types of material veneers that can be used, and also reduces the difference between convex and concave areas. This has the disadvantage that the gaps tend to become very distinct, resulting in a natural feel that is far removed from the natural feel of a natural decorative veneer with an uneven pattern obtained directly from natural wood.

In the present invention, raw wood such as Agatis wood, Labra wood, and White Seraya wood is rotary cut and cut into predetermined dimensions to create a material veneer 1 with a thickness of 0.2 mm to 2.0 mm. Next, the material veneer 1 is dyed with dyeing solution 2.
After immersing the wood in the wood and dyeing it in the same or almost the same color as the desired natural wood color (preferably spring wood color), two of the material veneers 2 are combined to create a composite veneer 3 with surfaces that are in close contact with each other. The composite veneer 3 is immersed in a thermosetting synthetic resin liquid 4 such as polyester resin, diallyl phthalate resin, urea resin, polyurethane resin, etc., so that the composite veneer 3 is impregnated with the thermosetting synthetic resin. At this time, it is desirable that the degree of impregnation of the thermosetting synthetic resin be limited to the middle and deep portions of the raw material veneer 1 constituting the composite veneer 3. Further, it is desirable that the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid 4 be colored in advance to be the same or substantially the same as the summer wood color of the desired natural wood. Next, the composite veneer 3 is separated into the respective material veneers 1, 1, and a plurality of material veneers 1, 1... are stacked with the one side 5 impregnated with thermosetting synthetic resin in the same direction, and the upper and lower layers are stacked. A laminate 7 having an uneven shape is formed by integrating a plurality of raw material veneers 1, 1, . Next, the laminate 7 is sliced into thin pieces 8 of 0.2 mm to 1.0 mm, and the surface of the thin pieces 8 is ground by brushing, sanding, etc.
A synthetic resin-impregnated material veneer portion 9 impregnated with a thermosetting synthetic resin and cured is made into a convex portion, and a synthetic resin-unimpregnated material veneer portion 10 which is not impregnated with a thermosetting synthetic resin is made into a concave portion. , a decorative veneer 11 having an uneven pattern formed thereon is obtained. Of course, if the square-shaped laminate 7 is formed, the straight-grained decorative veneer 11 can be obtained.

Note that after impregnating the thermosetting synthetic resin into the material veneer 1, heat may be applied to the material veneer 1 to completely cure the thermosetting synthetic resin, but it is preferable to leave it in a semi-cured state (finger-cured). It is best to let the materials dry to the touch, then laminate them, and use the press 6 as a heating plate to completely cure them.

Alternatively, a plurality of laminated material veneers 1, 1, etc. may be bonded together using thermosetting synthetic resin, but it is also possible to bond them together using an adhesive such as a polyurethane resin adhesive or a phenolic resin adhesive. It may be integrated.

Although thermosetting synthetic resin is used in the above embodiment, thermoplastic synthetic resin may also be used. In this case, when forming the laminate 7, when slicing, and when grinding, Care must be taken not to apply heat.

In the manufacturing method of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 10, the thin piece 8 is pasted onto a substrate 12 such as plywood, inorganic board, chipboard, etc. via an adhesive such as a urea resin adhesive or a phenol resin adhesive. Even if the surface of the decorative veneer is ground to obtain the decorative veneer 13 having an uneven pattern, this does not deviate from the scope of the method for producing a decorative veneer of the present invention.

The present invention is constructed as described above, and according to the manufacturing method of the present invention, a decorative veneer with an uneven pattern can be obtained using raw material veneers obtained from logs of the same tree species, and compared to the conventional manufacturing method. Furthermore, the decorative veneer obtained by the manufacturing method of the present invention has a gradual transition from convex to concave as the degree of impregnation with the synthetic resin changes, and is extremely It is very similar to natural decorative veneer, and the raised areas are impregnated with synthetic resin, so it has the "wet feeling" and "stain feeling" that natural wood parts (raised areas) have. It has the effect of expressing.
