BACKGROUND ART In recent years, with the automation and higher integration of electronic component mounting processes, there has been a demand for leadless electronic components that can be surface mounted on substrates.

That is, an insulating plate 13 is placed on the end face of the electrolytic capacitor 1, and the leads 8 are inserted through holes 16 provided in the insulating plate 13. Next, the leads 8 protruding from the back surface of the insulating plate 13 are bent along the back surface of the insulating plate 13 to form a substantially flat surface on the back surface of the insulating plate 13.

However, when manufacturing leadless electrolytic capacitor 1 using the conventional manufacturing method, the diameter dimension is 0.2

may be damaged, complicating the manufacturing process. Further, the insulating plate 13 and the electrolytic capacitor 1 are simply connected by the bending of the lead 8 and the mooring. Therefore, the electrolytic capacitor 1 and the insulating plate 13 may be separated from each other during the mounting process on the board 14 due to mechanical weakness.

Therefore, the contact area between electrolytic capacitor 1 and conductor portion 15 must become narrow. Therefore, it is conceivable to form the tips of the leads 8 in advance into a flat shape. But still,
It is difficult to provide a sufficient contact area, and the process of forming the leads 8 into a flat shape is complicated and difficult.

Therefore, if the area of the end face of the lead 8 is small, the electrical connection between the conductor portion 15 of the substrate 14 and the lead 8 may become defective.

As described above, the present invention provides an electrode plate in which a terminal made of a solderable metal piece and an insulating plate made of a heat-resistant synthetic resin are integrally formed on both sides of the insulating plate, and an exterior housing that houses a capacitor element. Two electrode plates are placed on the end face of an electrolytic capacitor formed by attaching a sealant to the opening of the case, and the leads from the capacitor element are sandwiched between the sides of the two electrode plates, and the two electrode plates are welded together. As a result, the leads of the electrolytic capacitor are firmly connected to the electrode plate, allowing the electrolytic capacitor to stand on its own.
