Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ニアエンドマーク１１と該ニアエンドマーク１
１より長いエンドマーク１２とを所定距離だけ相
互離隔して設けたサーマルプリンタ用転写リボン
１０の、ニアエンドおよびエンドを検知する検知
装置であつて、 前記ニアエンドマークおよびエンドマーク１１
，１２を感知する反射型光センサ２と、該センサ
２に対設された反射板４と、前記センサ２からの
反射光受光信号に基づいて前記転写リボン１０の
ニアエンドおよびエンドを検知する検知部６とか
ら成り、 前記検知部６は、該装置のイニシヤライズ時、
前記センサ２から継続的な反射光受光信号を入力
した場合「プリンタに転写リボン無」を検知し、
前記センサ２から反射光非受光信号を入力した場
合「プリンタに転写リボン有」を検知するように
なつていることを特徴とする検知装置。
