    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 搬送ローラにより搬送される搬送紙の紙搬送路
    に設けられ前記搬送紙の通過の有無を検知する通
    紙検知装置を有する画像形成装置において、前記
    搬送ローラのローラ面に光を吸収して光の反射を
    少なくする黒色に形成された受光部と、前記紙搬
    送路を介して前記搬送ローラの反対側に前記受光
    部に対向して設けられ前記搬送紙の通過の有無を
    検知する光反射形センサとを備えたことを特徴と
    する画像形成装置の通紙検知装置。
