(Prior art) Conventionally, for example, when decorating the surface of a lighting globe, the decoration was done by drawing an appropriate pattern on the surface or molding a pattern. The decoration is also made with similar decorations.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) However, in the case of the above-mentioned conventional products, if the decoration is made to be complicated, the process required for the processing becomes complicated, and in addition, it is difficult to reinforce the glass body. It is something that cannot be done. Therefore, this invention aims to provide a glass body that can serve as reinforcement and also provide a sufficient decorative effect.

(Means for solving the problem) Therefore, by adhering and fixing scattered pieces of glass fiber to the surface of the glass body using glue, applying a suitable pattern on the glass fiber with colored glaze, and covering it with transparent glaze. It is made by firing.

(Function) With the above structure, the glass fibers scattered and adhered to the surface of the glass body are fixed to the surface by firing, reinforcing the surface, and a pattern is placed on the surface with colored glaze through the glass fibers, so the pattern is The fibers will not fall off, and furthermore, when used as a glove or shade for a lighting device, the light rays that pass through the glass fibers will be appropriately scattered and soft illumination can be achieved.

(Example) This invention will be further explained with reference to an example shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a partial sectional view of a globe of a lighting device, showing the inner surface 2 of the globe 1 provided with the decorative reinforcing portion of this invention. 3 is a glue, 4 is a glass fiber strip, 5 is a decorative part placed through the glass fiber 4 with a colored glaze, and 6 is a transparent glaze that is further applied on the glass fiber.

To provide the above configuration, first, as shown in FIG. 2, on the inner surface 2 of the globe as a glass body,
CMC glue (carboxymethyl cellulose) is applied (Fig. 2 A), glass fibers are cut into appropriate dimensions and formed into strips, then sprinkled on the CMC glue and dried (Fig. 2A). Figure 2). and,
A suitable pattern is displayed on the surface where the glass fibers are sprinkled with a colored glaze (Fig. 2 (c)), this upper surface is further coated with a transparent glaze, dried, and then fired at 600°C in a firing furnace. Yes (Figure 2 D).

By this firing, the glass fiber is welded to the surface of the glass body, and the CMC glue used to fix it is incinerated. The coloring with the color paste creates a certain color pattern integrally with the glass fiber. It goes without saying that the above-mentioned work can be performed by a machine to save human labor.

The glass fiber welded to the surface of the glass body is reinforced by covering the surface with a fibrous material to prevent cracks on the surface and fix the pattern with colored glaze.
It scatters illumination light appropriately to create flexible illumination.
