Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a matching circuit by forming matching stubs in a dielectric substrate between a strip conductor and a ground conductor substrate. CONSTITUTION:Matching stubs 4a and 4b are formed in a dielectric substrate 1 between a strip conductor 3 and a ground conductor substrate, and the stub 4a has the conductor projected from the strip conductor 3 into the dielectric substrate 1, and the stub 4b has the conductor projected from the ground conductor substrate 2 into the dielectric substrate 1. Recessed parts of desired size and depth are formed from the side of the strip conductor 3 and the side of the ground conductor substrate 2 by a twist drill or the like and a metal is vapor-deposited in these recessed parts to form stubs 4a and 4b. Thus, a matching circuit element consisting of stubs and capacitors does not occupy a wide area.

High frequency circuits require matching circuits to effectively transmit high frequency power. By the way, a matching circuit in a conventional microstrip line requires a stub 4 and a capacitor 5 as shown in FIG. However, stub 4. Since the capacitor 5 occupies a large area on the matching circuit in the microstrip line, it becomes an obstacle to downsizing the circuit. Further, the capacitor 5 has problems such as a decrease in reliability due to an increase in the number of parts.
