    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 用紙の搬送経路の予定個所を照射するーように設置され
    た発光素子と、該発光素子の光の当たる位置に前記用紙
    を挾むように設置された反射板と、該反射板から反射し
    てきた前記発光素子の光を検出するように設置された受
    光素子とで構成され、前記用紙が前記発光素子の光を遮
    ぎることにより用紙の存在を判定することを特徴とする
    用紙検出装置。
