    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 円筒状ゲルを備え、標識色素により標識化され
    た核酸断片を前記ゲル中で円筒の軸方向に電気泳
    動させる機構と、前記ゲルの円筒の内側領域から
    ゲルの内面に励起光ビームを照射する光照射手段
    、前記ゲルの円筒の内側領域でゲルからの蛍光を
    受光する光検出器及びこの光検出器の光入射側に
    設けられて蛍光成分だけを透過させる光学素子を
    含む光学系と、この光学系のうちの少なくともゲ
    ルへの励起光ビーム照射部分、又は前記ゲルをゲ
    ルの円筒軸を中心として回転させる機構とを備え
    た核酸の塩基配列決定装置。
