Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 磁気テープにホストプロセツサから転送される
データを書き込む磁気テープ記憶装置において、 前記磁気テープに接触する磁気ヘツドの位置を
検出する磁気ヘツド位置検出回路と、 この磁気ヘツド位置検出回路で得られた磁気ヘ
ツド位置情報に基づいて前記磁気テープの残量を
演算する演算回路と、 この演算回路で演算されたテープ残量と前記ホ
ストプロセツサから送られたライトコマンドに付
されている書き込みデータ量とを比較し、テープ
残量が書込みデータ量より少ない場合、エラーメ
ツセージをホストプロセツサに返送するコマンド
処理制御回路と を設けた磁気テープ記憶装置。
