Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ ハウジングの内周に形成された環状の収容部
    内に、円周方向に複数に分割されその分割部が密
    閉状に互いに合接するとともにエキステンシヨン
    スプリングで円周方向に結束された非回転の環状
    体が収容され、該環状体の一端面はハウジングの
    端面と密接し、該環状体の内周面は微小なクリア
    ランスを介して回転体の外周面と対向するフロー
    ト型セグメントシールにおいて、前記環状体の内
    周面に、円周方向へ延びるとともに、前記分割部
    へ開放された所要数の溝を形成したことを特徴と
    するフロート型セグメントシール。 ２ 前記分割部が、前記溝よりも低圧空間側とな
    る位置で円周方向へ屈曲したステツプ構造になる
    ことを特徴とする請求項１に記載のフロート型セ
    グメントシール。 ３ 前記環状体が、分割部の位相が互いに異なり
    対向端面同士で密接した高圧空間側のバツクリン
    グと低圧空間側のシールリングを有し、前記溝を
    前記バツクリングの内周面またはバツクリングお
    よびシールリングの双方の内周面に形成したこと
    を特徴とする請求項１に記載のフロート型セグメ
    ントシール。
