Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a decorative material with woody feeling by a method wherein uniform resin treatment is done by sanding a surface, which is prepared by setting thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:Soft spring wood parts 2 are ground by subjecting the surface of wood based material (solid lumber, veneer, laminated lumber and the like of conifer) to a relief process or sandblasting. Next, resin 4 is filled in recessed by applying the thermosetting resin 4 such as urethane resin, polyester resin or the like on said surface and, after that set. After the setting, the whole surface is ground by sanding and finally coated in color. Accordingly, the color tone of summer wood parts 3 (annual ring lines) can be freely controlled. Since the soft spring wood parts 2 is coated with thermosetting resin 4, the strength and hardness of the surface is enhanced and consequently the scratch resistance and the like of decorative material is improved. Further, by grinding the surface through sanding, cracks are prevented from developing.

[Example] An example of the present invention will be described based on FIG. 1st
The figure shows the process of manufacturing this decorative material.
The surface of the material (solid softwood, veneer, laminated wood, etc.) is floated or sandblasted, and the soft spring material 2 is ground (see (A) and (B) in the same figure). The summer wood part 3 (annual ring line) remains and the surface becomes uneven. Next, a thermosetting resin 4 such as urethane resin or polyester resin is applied to the surface and the resin 4 is filled into the recess (FIG. 4(C)).
Then, the resin 4 is cured by heating and applying pressure if necessary ((D) in the same figure). After curing, the entire surface is sanded to grind the surface ((E) in the same figure), and colored coating is applied.

Therefore, the color tone of the summer wood portion 3 (annual ring line) can be freely controlled by the degree of sanding. Further, since the thermosetting resin 4 is applied to the soft spring material portion 2, the surface strength and hardness are increased, and scratch resistance and the like are improved. Furthermore, surface grinding by sanding separates the resins 4 from each other (see (E) in the same figure), thereby preventing the occurrence of cranks.

In addition, as shown in Fig. 2, a wooden veneer 6 (for example) is laminated and adhered to the surface of the base plate 5 (for example, a base plate), and then a colored thermosetting resin is applied and hardened by pressing. After sanding, the base plate 5 may be colored or painted. The base plate 5 used is one that has been subjected to resin impregnation treatment (WPC treatment).

Next, a method for manufacturing the decorative material shown in FIG. 2 will be explained based on FIG. 3. First, the veneer 6 and the base plate 5 are attached at an angle of 120 degrees using an adhesive (water-based vinyl urethane resetting adhesive SB, etc.).
C. Press at 8 kg/cd for 80 seconds to bond. Next, polyester resin is applied to the surface of the veneer 6, and
It is hardened by pressing at 8 kg/c+j for 3 minutes at °C, and then seasoned for 1 day and night to reduce the moisture content to 4% or less. Furthermore, the surface of the veneer 6 is sanded. For sanding - #60, #120, #150. .. #18
