Therefore, it is not possible to meet the needs of photographers simply by automatically setting the film sensitivity using a code section provided on the film cartridge.

You can choose whether to switch to a film sensitivity signal. Thereby, even if the film sensitivity is automatically set, it is possible to reset it to a desired film sensitivity according to the photographer's will. When switching to the second film sensitivity signal set manually, a warning is displayed to indicate this fact.

Reference numeral (20) denotes a back cover, which is equipped with a charge part (22) that rotates integrally with the back cover using (21) as a rotation axis. (2
3) is a light receiving aperture setting member (2) that holds the light receiving aperture (25) and sets the light receiving aperture diameter according to the film sensitivity;
4) is a locking lever that locks the aperture setting member and releases the lock in conjunction with the movement of the camera back. (O is a reading circuit that processes the signals from the electrode group (S+ to Ss) as shown in Figure 2 and outputs digital signals corresponding to the read film sensitivity to (2). 1)-
A) converts the digital signal (to) into an analog signal, and changes the meter (ME) needle (to) according to this analog signal.
The rotation angle of MEa) is determined. This determines the position where the comb tooth part (23b) contacts the needle part (MEλ) when the receiving diaphragm setting member (23) is released from its lock and moves to the right, and therefore the position of the receiving diaphragm setting member is determined. The stopping position will be determined.

With this type, contact failures due to dirt, dust, etc. on the contacts, which would occur with a type where the cartridge has a direct conductive part, are less likely to occur.In addition, since the signals are coded, a variety of signals can be generated by combining them. Although the reading mechanism applicable to this cartridge is not shown, if a known method is used, for example, to turn on and off a switch by the amount of displacement of the recess, direct conduction as shown in the N5 diagram can be used. If the film cartridge is a molded product, a recess for a signal can be easily provided. .

Further, the film entrance/exit end has a taper to sandwich the film. In addition, due to the above-mentioned prevention of film entrainment, there is no need to open the film cartridge during film splicing in the processing laboratory, and splicing work can be performed in a bright room.In addition, the film information on the cartridge can be read and information such as work procedures can be coded. By directly punching in the code before the first frame of the film using a puncher, it becomes possible to greatly streamline the process.

(PH) is a perforation, and (SH1-5) (5) is a code portion in which film sensitivity etc. are coded by the presence or absence of a signal hole. The position of this hole is arranged in a constant relationship with the perforation PH. Further, it is desirable to provide five oblong holes at positions not far inside the tip of the film (F), for example, between the beginning and the second of the perforations (PH). Currently, (SH+) and (SH3) are drilled out, indicating a certain film speed. This means that the data is '10100//.

For example, a spool suitable for this film has an elastic electrode such as conductive rubber on one side and a signal notch (S) in the film on the other side.
N) A resistance band extending in the length direction is provided so that the leading end of the film is sandwiched between them. The reason for this structure is that the length of the resistance band short-circuited by the elastic electrode varies depending on the length of the notch (S N), so the low resistance value of the entire resistance band also varies accordingly, which affects the film sensitivity. You can get the corresponding signal. This signal can be transmitted to the camera body and used for exposure control. In this case, there is only one contact from the spool to the exposure control system, which facilitates the spool design. In addition, as in the previous eight embodiments, the ASA information (
There is enough space even if you add a notch for information on the number of film frames in a position parallel to SN).

data is output. The switch (510) is a switch that detects whether or not the cartridge is provided with film sensitivity information.The part (1) is always conductive if the cartridge is provided with film sensitivity information, as shown in Figure 16. Therefore, the output of the inverter (IN9) is always 'High', and a signal indicating that film sensitivity information is provided is output. If the film is not provided with film sensitivity information, the fil part is also an insulating layer, and the switch (310) is not at ground potential, so the output of the inverter (IN9) becomes 'Low' and the film A signal indicating that the sensor is a small torone for which sensitivity information is not provided is output.

As shown in Fig. 17, in order to distinguish between the cartridge and the cartridge, it is necessary to provide two switches (51) and (51) that contact the part (1), which would be unreasonable in terms of space.
