ため接触不良が生じる。 A multi-connector is used to connect contacts formed on two wiring boards, but when there are a large number of contacts in close proximity, it becomes difficult to connect them using a conventional multi-connector. From this point of view, the wiring boards 11 and 12 to be connected are arranged in parallel as shown in FIG.
At each of the plurality of corresponding contacts 13 and 14 of 1 and 12,
A large number of thin metal wires 16 are passed through the elastic insulating piece 15 closely and in parallel, and both ends of the metal wires 16 located on both sides of the elastic insulating piece 15 come into contact with the contacts 13 and 14. There are some that are electrically connected to each other. In this way, one of the metal wires 16 will come into contact with the contacts 13 and 14 to establish a connection, even if the wiring boards 11 and 12 are not aligned very precisely. However, such a connection has a contact resistance of several ohms, and if the contacts 13 and 14 are arranged with a two-dimensional spread, the elastic insulating pieces 15 should be placed uniformly on each part of the substrates 11 and 12. It is difficult to make good contact, resulting in poor contact.

These contact pins 21 and 22 are respectively projected from both sides of the substrate 17. Further, a coil spring 23 is housed in the tube 19 as shown in FIG. 3, and the coil spring 23 biases the first and second contact pins 21 and 22 outward, respectively. Flanges 2 are attached to the inner peripheral surface of both ends of the tube 19.
4 and 25 are bent and formed, respectively, and the brim 24,
25 form closed surfaces on both end surfaces of the tube 19. Further, the contact pins 21 and 22 are integrally formed with peripheral flanges 26 and 27 within the tube 19, and these peripheral flanges 26 and 27 are connected to the collar 24 and the flange 27, respectively.
25 and are prevented from coming off.
Both ends of the coil spring 23 are elastically engaged with the circumferential flanges 26 and 27, and the axial center of the tube 19 and the axial center of the spring 23 substantially coincide with each other.

In other words, it becomes easier to replace defective tubes and contact units.

Recesses 31 and 32 are formed in each end surface of the contact portions 28 and 29, respectively, so that each end surface of the contact portions 28 and 29 becomes the contact point 13,
14 by a line rather than a point to ensure good contact. Furthermore, in order to equalize the protruding lengths of the contact pins 21 and 22, the length of the tube 19 is made constant, and a restriction plate is placed on the outer periphery of the tube 19 at a predetermined position from one end, in this example, the thickened end on the side of the contact portion 28. 33 are integrally formed, and when the tube 19 is inserted into the through hole 18, the restriction plate 33 comes into contact with the plate surface of the substrate 17, and its insertion is restricted at a predetermined position. As for the materials, for example, the tube 19 is made of brass, beryllium cutout, etc., the contact pins 21 and 22 are made of beryllium cutout, and the coil spring 23 is made of piano wire.

板に形成されている場合に限られない。 According to the above-described connector of this invention, a large number of contact pins 21 and 22 protrude from both sides of the board so that they can move in and out.For example, as shown in FIG. 1
3 and 14 are brought into elastic contact with the contact pins 21 and 22. As a result, the contacts 13 and 14 are connected to the contact pins 21 and 22, the tube 19, and the coil spring 2.
They are electrically connected to each other via 3. In this way, the contact pins 21 and 22 come into elastic contact with the contacts 13 and 14, resulting in low contact resistance and good contact, and since the contact pins 21 and 22 can move in and out, the contacts 13 and 14 Even if the wiring boards 11, 12, and 17 are distributed over a certain area, all contacts can be connected well without paying special attention to the parallelism of the wiring boards 11, 12, and the board 17, or without increasing the flatness accuracy of each board. be done. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, it is possible to use a donut plate-shaped connector to connect contacts distributed over a wide area. The protruding length of contact pins 21 and 22 is, for example, 1.5 to 4 mm, and the thickness is
1.3mm, the contact pin spacing is 4mm, etc.
One of the contact pins is brought into contact with one contact point. The contacts to be connected to each other are not limited to those formed on the wiring board.

ネクタ。 Two wiring boards are arranged with their respective contacts projecting oppositely, an insulating board is arranged between these wiring boards, and first and second contact pins are arranged to protrude from both sides of the insulating board, respectively. In the connector in which the contacts respectively contact the contacts and the contacts corresponding to each of the two wiring boards are connected to each other, a large number of through holes are formed in a distributed manner in the insulating board, and each of these through holes has an integral hole. Tubes formed in the above are inserted and held, both ends of these tubes are bent inward as a collar to form closed surfaces on both end surfaces of the tube, and the first and second contact pins are connected to the tube. A coil spring is housed in the tube and is housed with its tips projecting freely in and out from both of the closed surfaces, and biasing the ends of the first and second contact pins so as to project outward from the closed surfaces, respectively; A peripheral flange is provided on the distal end side of each of the first and second contact pins to prevent the contact pin from coming off by facing the closed surface and inside the tube when the coil spring is at its maximum deflection. On the other hand, the diameter of the protruding end from the closed surface is large, and on the side of the contact pin where the diameter of the protruding end is large, the tube has a restriction extending in the radial direction near the closed surface. A plate is formed, and when the tube is inserted into the through hole, the restriction plate faces the peripheral edge of the through hole and is positioned for the insertion, and when the tube is maintained inserted into the through hole, the restriction plate The connector is configured such that a contact pin is disposed to protrude from the insulating substrate, a recess is formed in the protruding end surface of the contact pin, and the recess allows the contact pin and the contact point to come into line contact.
