Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable execution of both ordinary waveform scrolling only of one time and automatic waveform scrolling, by providing a rotary switch. CONSTITUTION:A rotary switch 20 rotates in the right or left direction and generates a required waveform scrolling input signal. A switch 22 generates setting signals and alteration signals thereof relating to sampling speeds, the total number of the data thereon and various set items being necessary for observing waveforms in an input range. An arithmetic device 24 is provided with CPU 30, receiving these signals, preparing input data, turning them into waveforms and displaying them as scrolls on a screen. When the switch 20 is made to rotate in the right or left direction and the amount and speed thereof are selected, the required waveform scrolling input signal corresponding thereto is generated and a waveform in a waveform scrolling state is observed in a display device 26. When the switch 20 is in a state of rotating continuously in a prescribed number of rotations or more, in the same direction and at a high speed, for instance, an input signal from the switch 20 is determined to be of automatic waveform scrolling, while it is determined to be of ordinary waveform scrolling only of one time corresponding to the other state when the switch is in this state.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, waveform observation devices such as recorders and waveform analyzers use recording devices such as dot printers to record voltage, current, and other sampled input data in the form of waveforms on recording paper. Furthermore, a display device such as a CRT is provided, and waveforms are scrolled and displayed on the screen from data stored in a memory based on the same sampling data, and the waveforms are observed. The means for starting such waveform scrolling is a rotary switch, and when it is rotated to the right or left as much as necessary, a signal is generated, and a number of waveform scrolls corresponding to the amount of rotation are performed.

For example, as shown in Figure 7, if you press your fingertip into the recess of the rotary knob 10 and turn the knob counterclockwise by the amount of rotation equivalent to one revolution of waveform scrolling, the screen will appear as shown in Figure (A). If you scroll the waveform to the left by one rotation above, and then continue to turn the knob by the amount of rotation equivalent to scrolling the waveform by a little more than two rotations, the waveform will continue to the left by that amount as shown in the figure (b). Scroll. In addition, when the rotary knob 10 is rotated once, the waveform changes from 5 to 6 on the screen.
Scroll about cm.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in a waveform observation device having such a waveform scrolling function, when a large amount of data is stored in the memory, it is difficult to scroll all the waveforms from the beginning to the end by inputting the rotary switch. , the switch must continue to be rotated for a long time, for example, about 17 minutes. For this reason, the labor burden required for operation is too great.
It becomes painful for the observer. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 8, dedicated automatic waveform scroll transition switches, such as an open/close type switch 12 for rightward scrolling and an open/close type switch 14 for leftward scrolling, are installed near the rotary switch 10. It may be possible to automatically scroll the waveform to the right or left by simply turning on one of the open/close switches without rotating the waveform. However, this naturally requires two automatic waveform scroll transition switches.

Effect With the above configuration, by operating the rotary switch 20 in the previous stage, rotating it to the right or left, and selecting the amount of rotation, rotation speed, etc., the required waveform scroll corresponding to the operating state will be scrolled. By generating the human power signal, the waveform of the scrolling state obtained on the display device 26 at the subsequent stage can be observed. For this reason, in the middle stage, first, the switch human power detection means 42 detects whether there is an input signal from the operation of the rotor switch 20 or other switches 22, or the presence or absence of a switch input, and then the input switch discrimination means 44
determines the type of the switch 20 or 22 that generated the input signal, and then the waveform scroll state determining means 46 changes the state of the waveform scroll to normal one-time waveform scroll according to the input signal from the rotary switch 20. Or,
Alternatively, after determining whether to perform automatic waveform scrolling, the waveform scroll signal means 48 executes the determined waveform scrolling state.

Further, 5PEED indicates a counter for determining the rotation speed of the rotary switch. Next, go to P2 and rotary switch 20. Alternatively, it is determined whether or not there is manual switch power due to the operation of other switches 22 or the like. If yes, go to P3 and determine whether the operated switch is the rotary switch 20 or its corresponding switch 22, and if it is the rotary switch 20, whether it was rotated to the right or left. Note that the presence of switch input is detected by the rising or falling edge of the pulse. Incidentally, there are two signal lines connecting the rotary switch 20 and the input port 36, and different lines are used depending on the direction of rotation. When the rotary switch 20 is turned to the right,
Go to P4. At P4, FLAG is determined. If FLAG is O or 2, go to P5. At P5, FLAG is set to 1 in order to set the waveform scroll mode to the right according to the rotational direction of the rotary switch 20. Also, C0N

The case where the rotary switch 20 is rotated to the right has been described above, but the operation is almost the same when the rotary switch 20 is rotated to the left, except that the direction of the waveform scroll is different. Therefore, in the following, steps related only to the leftward rotation of the rotary switch will be mainly explained. When the rotary switch 20 is rotated to the left, first, there is a switch input at P2, and after it is determined that the rotation direction of the switch 20 is to the left at P3, the process goes to PI3. PI3 determines FLAG. If FLAG is O or 1, go to P2O. P
At 2O, according to the rotation direction of the rotary switch 20,
To set the waveform scroll mode to the left, set FLAG
Set to 2. Also, set both C0NT and 5PEED to O. Next, go to P21. In P21, the waveform is scrolled once to the left.

Therefore, the rotary switch input and 5PEED and C
The relationship with 0NT is shown in a timing chart as shown in FIG. However, the figure (a) shows that when the rotary switch is rotated at high speed in the same direction, right or left, (b)
The figure shows the case of low speed rotation. In this way, when the rotary switch 20 is rotated at high speed, the interval between pulses becomes shorter, and when it is rotated at a lower speed, the interval between pulses becomes longer. Therefore, the interval between pulses is determined by determining the check timing of the switch input, and is counted by the variable 5PEED. Then, 5P
It is clear that the value of EED allows transition from normal one-time waveform scrolling to automatic waveform scrolling. By the way, in the above program, 5PEED is a constant number of 2
If it exceeds 0, it is regarded as low speed and the variable C0NT is cleared. When the rotary switch 20 is rotated at high speed, C0NT increases up to a constant number 100 according to the number of pulses generated, so judge the value of C0NT. and normal 1
The waveform scrolling process has been changed from one-time waveform scrolling to automatic waveform scrolling.

In this way, even if normal one-time waveform scroll processing or automatic waveform scroll processing is performed in the right or left direction, when the settings related to various setting items or the switches for changing them are operated, the switch is switched at P2. If there is an input, it is determined that the switch operated at P3 is another switch 22, and the process goes to P28.

At P28, the variables FLAG, C0NT, and 5PEED are all set to O. Next, go to P2O. In P2O, settings of various setting items are changed. Incidentally, in the above program, if there is an input from a switch 22 other than the rotary switch, if 5PEED becomes larger than a certain number of 20 or 100, and if it is determined that the rotary switch 20 is rotating at a low speed or not rotating, If it is determined that the rotary switch 20 has rotated in the opposite direction, the variable C0NT is cleared, so unless the rotary switch 20 is rotated continuously in the same direction to the right or left and at a high speed, it will not work normally once. This means that you will not be able to switch from automatic waveform scrolling to automatic waveform scrolling.

According to the present invention, which has been described in detail, it is possible to perform normal one-time waveform scrolling and automatic waveform scrolling with a single rotary switch, making it unnecessary to add a dedicated switch for automatic waveform scrolling, which is convenient. is. Also, if you want to scroll the waveform slowly to the left or right, just rotate the rotary switch accordingly, or if you want to scroll the waveform quickly to the left or right in the same direction. By rotating the rotary switch exactly as desired for a short period of time, the waveform can be automatically scrolled without any further operation, resulting in excellent operability.
