  1. 半導体レーザチツプ、該半導体レーザチツプか
    ら出力されるレーザ光をモニタするフオトダイオ
    ードを有する半導体レーザ装置において、上記フ
    オトダイオードの受光表面には誘電膜が設けられ
    ると共に、上記フオトダイオードで反射したレー
    ザ光が上記半導体レーザチツプ方向に指向するよ
    うに上記フオトダイオードを配置したことを特徴
    とする半導体レーザ装置。
