Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply carry out sorting classified by transmitters by giving an identification mark indicating a first page to each first page of sheets of receiving paper for each receiving. CONSTITUTION:Identification marks 10a-12a each indicating a first page are given to each first page of sheets of receiving paper 3-9 for each receiving action of a facsimile device. Due to the identification marks 10a-12a, the sorting of a number of sheets of receiving paper 3-9 classified by transmitters can be easily carried out.

The reception method of conventional facsimile machines is as described above, so when a large amount of received paper from an unspecified number of senders is accumulated, when sorting by each sender, it is necessary to identify the sender of the piled up received paper. There was a problem that it was difficult to distinguish between different divisions, and it took a lot of effort to sort them.

When receiving a communication from the sender, which is the facsimile main body 1, while recording the first page of the receiving paper 3, a message is placed at a certain position on the receiving paper 3 in a certain size as shown in the figure. After applying the identification mark LOA, the received contents are recorded on the second and third pages of each receiving paper 4 and 5. Thereafter, identification marks 11a are also placed on the first page of the receiving sheets 6 and 9 for the second and third receptions.

In the above embodiment, the number of sheets received for the first and second times is assumed to be three, but regardless of the number of sheets received, the first page of each reception, that is, the first page, is always identified from the right or left side to the edge. Marks 10a to 12a are provided. Furthermore, since this identification mark is made using a stamp, any color can be set. A command to apply an identification mark is issued from a control section (not shown) of the main body 1 of the facsimile machine.

In the above embodiment, the identification marks 10a to 12a were set at certain fixed positions with respect to the ejection direction of the received paper, but by changing the timing of stamping, the identification marks 10b to 12b can be set as shown in FIG. The application position may be moved in the longitudinal direction for each reception. In this way, the same effect as in the above embodiment is achieved, and at the same time, a unique effect is also obtained in that it becomes easier to distinguish between divisions even if the number of sheets received at each reception is one.

FIG. 3 shows an example in which identification marks 10a to 12a are applied using the same recording means as the recording means for the received contents. By doing so, there is a great effect that the device is simple and highly reliable because no special components such as a stamp are required.
