11を開閉するスロツトルバルブTvを備えたエ
ンジンEを有する自動車に、冷房サイクル20の
冷媒圧縮容量を制御するコントロールバルブ7を
備えると共に前記エンジンEの回転軸に連結され
て冷房サイクル20の冷媒を圧縮する容量可変式
コンプレツサCと、当該容量可変式コンプレツサ
Cにより圧縮された冷媒が循環すると共に取入空
気を冷却するエバポレータ18とを備えた自動車
用空気調和装置を搭載し、前記エンジンEがアイ
ドル運転状態であり、かつ前記容量可変式コンプ
レツサCが作動状態であるときは、エンジンEの
アイドル回転数をエンジン無負荷状態のアイドル
回転数より上昇させるように制御する自動車用エ
ンジン回転数制御装置において、 前記エンジンEのアイドル運転状態を検出する
アイドル検出手段25と、前記容量可変式コンプ
レツサCの作動状態を検出するコンプレツサ作動
検出手段26と、前記容量可変式コンプレツサC
の負荷状態を検出するコンプレツサ負荷検出手段
27と、前記エンジンEのアイドル回転数を増減
させるアイドル回転数補正手段28と、前記エン
ジンEがアイドル運転状態であると共に前記コン
プレツサCが作動状態であり、かつ当該コンプレ
ツサCが低負荷状態であることが検出された場合
は、エンジン回転数を低下させる演算手段29と
