Abstract

PURPOSE:To attempt to effectively utilize a waste material dryer in low availability by arranging a branch chute in the midst of an exhaust chute, providing a waste material storing bin thereunder, and providing a passage changing damper for changing passage of passing material to the branch part. CONSTITUTION:A waste material dryer 20 is established in parallel to an asphalt plant having a new material dryer 1, a branch chute 29 in the midst of an exhaust chute 28, and a waste material storing bin 31 downward the branch chute 29 are respectively arranged. When only new material is heated, a passage changing damper 30 of the exhaust chute 28 is moved, new material is fed into a new material/waste material dryer 1, 2, heated new material is thrown into a vibration sieve 13 via elevators 10, 27, and stored in a new material storing bin 14 for every grain diameter. Moreover, when waste material is heated, the passage changing damper 30 is moved, waste material is fed into the waste material dryer 20, dropped to the branch chute 29 side via the elevator 27, and stored in the waste material storing bin 31.

1 is a dryer for new materials that heats new materials, and the dryer for new materials 1 has a large number of raking blades (not shown in the drawing) on the inner circumference.
A cylindrical new material drum 2 with a cylindrical drum around the periphery is tilted and rotatably supported on a machine base 3, and is rotated at a predetermined speed by a drive device (not shown). Hot air is sent into the drum from a burner 5 installed in the hopper 4, while an exhaust flue 7 is connected to a cold hopper 6 at the other end.
A flow of hot gas is maintained through the drum 2 by suctioning the exhaust gas with a terminal exhaust fan (not shown). Then, the material is transferred to the drum 2 by the belt conveyor 8.
The new material is brought into contact with a high-temperature gas stream while flowing down inside the drum 2 while scraping up the new material with a scraping blade.
The temperature is raised to a desired temperature and then discharged from the discharge section 9 disposed in the hot hopper 5.
