Claims (1)
スクを回転した状態で所定のスポツト径のレーザ
ー収束光を照射して初期化処理を行う相変化型光
デイスクの初期化装置であり、 装着された前記光デイスクの半径方向に移動可
能なアクチユエータと、 前記アクチユエータにより、該アクチユエータ
の所定位置に対して前記半径方向に変位可能に保
持された対物レンズと、 前記対物レンズが、前記光デイスクの回転周期
に比例する第1の期間で所定の移動幅だけ前記半
径方向の一方に略一定の速度で移動し、続く所定
の第2の期間で復帰する連続した反復移動を行う
ようこれを駆動する対物レンズ駆動手段と、 前記アクチユエータが、前記第2の期間の始ま
りと同時に、前記対物レンズの移動幅よりも短い
所定の距離だけ前記半径方向の一方に移動すべく
移動を開始し、前記第1の期間より十分短い移動
期間でその移動を略終了するように逐次駆動する
アクチユエータ駆動手段とを有し、 前記第2の期間が前記移動期間に略一致するよ
うにしたことを特徴とする相変化型光デイスクの
初期化装置。 (2) 相変化型の光デイスクを装着し、該光デイ
スクを回転した状態で所定のスポツト径のレーザ
ー収束光を照射して初期化処理を行う相変化型光
デイスクの初期化装置であり、 装着された前記光デイスクの半径方向に移動可
能なアクチユエータと、 前記アクチユエータにより、該アクチユエータ
の所定位置に対して前記半径方向に変位可能に保
持された対物レンズと、 前記対物レンズが、前記光デイスクの回転周期
に比例する第1の期間で所定の移動幅だけ前記半
径方向の一方に略一定の速度で移動し、続く所定
の第2の期間で復帰する連続した反復移動を行う
ようこれを駆動する対物レンズ駆動手段と、 前記アクチユエータが、前記第2の期間の始ま
りと同時に、前記対物レンズの移動幅よりも短い
所定の距離だけ前記半径方向の一方に移動すべく
移動を開始し、前記第1の期間より十分短い移動
期間でその移動を略終了するように逐次駆動する
アクチユエータ駆動手段と、 前記第2の期間における前記レーザー収束光の
エネルギーが、前記第1の期間における前記レー
ザー収束光のエネルギーより小さくなるようにレ
ーザーを制御するレーザー駆動手段とを有し、 前記第2の期間が前記移動期間に略一致するよ
うにしたことを特徴とする相変化型光デイスクの
