- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 内燃機関の運転条件に応じた目標空燃比となる
ように燃料供給量を制御する燃料供給量制御手段
と、 前記内燃機関の排気系に設けられ、排気ガス中
の酸素濃度を検出する空燃比センサと、 前記目標空燃比が所定の基準値よりリツチ側に
あるときに失火判定を許可する失火判定許可手段
と、 失火判定許可期間中に前記空燃比センサの出力
から得られる検出空燃比が所定の判定基準値より
リーン側になることが所定頻度以上で発生するか
否かで失火判定を行う失火判定手段と を備えた内燃機関の失火検出装置。
