Claims (1)

するための転写材ガイド手段と、前記転写部から
搬送されてくる転写材を前記定着部に搬送するた
めのローラ手段とからなる搬送路を有する下部機
構とからなり、 前記上部機構が前記下部機構に対して開閉可能
な電子写真装置において、 前記転写材ガイド手段は、前記搬送路沿いに固
定して設けられた第1のガイド手段と、この第1
のガイド手段に対向して配置され、搬送路にて搬
送されてくる転写材を搬送可能な案内位置とこの
案内位置とは異なる非案内位置との間を、前記上
部機構の開閉方向に沿う方向に開閉可能に設けら
れた第2のガイド手段とを具備し、 前記ローラ手段は、搬送される転写材を案内す
る案内位置とこの案内位置とは異なる被案内位置
とをとり得るように前記第2のガイド手段の開閉
方向に沿う方向に開閉可能に設けられ、 前記第2のガイド手段及び前記ローラ手段は
夫々被当接部を有し、 前記上部機構には、前記第2のガイド手段の被
当接部に当接する第1の当接部と、前記ローラ手
段の被当接部に当接する第2の当接部とが設けら
れ、 前記上部機構が前記下部機構に対して開放状態
にある際には、前記第2のガイド手段及び前記ロ
ーラ手段は、手動動作により前記非案内位置に移
動することが可能であり、 前記上部機構が前記下部機構に対して閉鎖され
る際には、前記第1及び第2の当接部が、各々前
記第2のガイド手段及び前記ローラ手段の非当接
部に当接することにより、前記第2のガイド手段
及び前記ローラ手段は、前記非案内位置から案内
位置に自動的に移動することを特徴とする電子写
真装置。
