持した揺動自在なクレードル34を取付ける。そ
して該挟持ローラ33は第2のシヤフト32との
間に設けたつるまきばね35の付勢力により、そ
の周面を前記ガイドプーリ31周面に圧接するよ
う付勢されている。第2のシヤフト32は該第2
のシヤフト32端部に設けられた跳ね上げレバー
36を作動することにより回動し、跳ね上げレバ
ー36の途中に設けたフツクレバーをシヤフト3
0に引掛けるなど、任意係合手段により跳ね上げ
レバー36を作動位置に保つことによりクレード
ル34を操作することなしに挟持ローラ33をガ
イドプーリ31から離すことができるよう構成さ

を備えたものであるから、上部フロアに配置され
たケンスから引出されたスライバは、該スライバ
端を挟持されスライバ搬送装置のスライバ引下げ
機構により上部フロアの床面に設けられた開口に
臨まされ、該開口を経て下部フロアに配置された
紡績機の紡績ユニツト上部へと供給されることと
なり、その結果ケンスはすべて上部フロアに配置
され、下部フロアには紡績機のみの配置が可能と
なり、ケンスから紡績機へのスライバの供給はス
ライバ搬送装置を介して行うよう構成したから、
従来のようにケンス配置エリアを紡績機と同一床
面上に設ける必要がなく、紡績機の増設を可能と
するばかりかケンスの大型化が制限され、又、ス
ペースが限られる恐れもなく、スライバの消費量
が増加しケンスの交換頻度が増加し、或いはケン
スの大型化が進んでもこれに充分対応することが
できるから、作業能率を向上し生産性を高める効
