A golf grip with grooves on the surface is formed by pressing, heating and vulcanizing. The golf grip is then dipped into a paint bath to deposit paint over its entire surface.

This polishing removes excess paint from areas other than the grooves, leaving the paint in the grooves as a pattern. At the same time, this polishing makes the golf grip surface rough, providing an anti-slip effect.

Since the golf grip is molded in this state, a groove-like pattern is formed on the surface of the molded golf grip, and at the same time, the coating film is transferred along the inside of the grooves. Furthermore, by making the mold surface rough, the golf grip surface becomes rough, and polishing after molding becomes unnecessary.

. It consists of a rod-shaped core 4 disposed between the lower molds 2. It should be noted that since the golf grip has a gently tapered shape with a larger diameter at the upper end, the mold surfaces 1a and 2i are also formed in a gently tapered shape correspondingly. Further, a large-diameter cylindrical support part 4a is formed at the end of the core 4, and the support part 4a is held between the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2 to support the core 4. This also closes the other end of the cavity.

is formed. In the illustrated example, the protrusions 5 are provided so as to form a large number of linear patterns along the longitudinal direction of the golf grip. Further, the surfaces other than the protruding portions 5 are appropriately roughened.

is a sheet-like material made of a thin metal plate or synthetic resin, etc., and is molded into a shape that follows the mold surfaces 1a and 2a, and has a large number of slits 7 formed therein corresponding to the protrusions 5. .

Since it evaporates quickly, it remains as a coating film on the surface of the protrusion 5.

Then, the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2 are clamped together, and the unvulcanized rubber material is forced and spread into each part of the cavity. That is, so-called combination molding is performed. According to this compression molding, the rubber material does not flow violently, so that the paint is prevented from spreading.

となる。Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above explanation, according to the method for manufacturing a golf grip according to the present invention, the paint is transferred from the mold along the groove-like pattern at the same time as the golf grip is formed. Molding and painting can be done in one step, simplifying the manufacturing process. In particular, by forming the outer surface into a rough surface in advance, the polishing step can be omitted, and manufacturing costs can be reduced.
