Claims (1)
て上面に光拡散層が形成され且つ下面が長手方向
に垂直な方向に関して両側に向かつて厚さが増加
するように形成された凹陥部を有するライトガイ
ドと、該ライトガイドの凹陥部内に長手方向に延
びるように配設された光源とを含んでおり、上記
ライトガイドの下面に設けられた凹陥部の傾斜面
に透反板が備えられていると共に、該ライトガイ
ドの両側面に白色層が設けられており、光源から
出た光のうち、上方へ向かう光が透反板を通過す
ることによりライトガイド内に入射して光拡散層
に達し、また上記凹陥部の側方へ向かう光が該凹
陥部の側面からライトガイド内に入射し該ライト
ガイドの両側面に設けられた白色層により反射さ
れて該ライトガイド上面の光拡散層に達すること
により、液晶セルをバツク照明するようにしたこ
