Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the input operation of an operator for change of the sequence circuits by using an arithmetic processing means to produce the instructions for transfer, deletion and insertion of the information on the circuit to be changed for changing of the sequence circuits so far carried out by the operator. CONSTITUTION:A storage means 1001 is provided to store the produced sequence program together with a mode instructing means 1002 which instructs a change mode, a circuit instructing means 1003 which points two circuits to be changed and contained in the sequence programs stored in the means 1001 when a change mode is instructed by the means 1002, and an arithmetic processing means 1004 which performs an arithmetic processing to exchange the storage positions of the means 1001 with each other based on the sequence instruction of the circuit instructed by the means 1003. In such a constitution, an operator is required just to designate those two circuits to be changed with each other and to designate a change mode only. Thus the operating frequency of the operator is halved and the operating labor of the operator can be reduced.

In FIG. 7, the program memory is divided into five sets of pages in the order of 1 page, 4 pages, 7 pages, 30 pages, and 31 pages. Note that a page means a structural unit of a sequence circuit. Let us now take as an example a case where a circuit on page 4 is to be replaced with a circuit on page 30. First, the user instructs the programmable controller from the programming device to transfer circuit information consisting of only four pages of information to the program memory of the programming device. Thereafter, four pages of information in the program memory of the programmable controller are deleted according to instructions from the programming device. Then, the 4 page circuit information transferred to the programming device is inserted between the 7 page and 30 page information on the program memory of the programmable controller.

Next, the user transfers only 30 pages of information to the programming device as described above, and then deletes only 30 pages of information. Subsequently, the 30 pages of information transferred to the programming device are inserted between the 1st page and 7th page of information on the program memory of the programmable controller. As described above, the circuit information of 4 pages and 30 pages on the program memory of the programmable controller is exchanged. Note that in the sequence program being created, the above-described processing is executed between the program memory and work memory of the programming device.

In this way, in order to exchange the circuits of a sequence program that has already been created, the operator must perform a total of six instruction operations, including transfer, deletion, and insertion, regarding the two pieces of circuit information to be exchanged. Therefore, it is extremely troublesome for the operator to perform manual operations when erroneous input is made when creating a sequence program or when circuits are replaced when a design is changed.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve such an object, the present invention creates a sequence program consisting of sequence instructions to be executed by a programmable controller, and performs programming to input signals to the programmable controller. In the apparatus, a storage means for storing the already created sequence program, a mode instruction means for instructing an exchange mode, and two objects to be exchanged in the sequence program of the storage means when the exchange mode is instructed by the mode instruction means. The present invention is characterized by comprising circuit instruction means for instructing one circuit, and arithmetic processing means for performing arithmetic processing for mutually exchanging storage positions on the storage means with respect to sequence commands of the circuits instructed by the circuit instruction means.

[Operation] In the present invention, the operation processing means executes instruction operations for replacing a sequence circuit, that is, instructions for transferring, deleting, and inserting circuit information to be replaced, which were performed by an operator in a conventional device. Therefore, the operator only needs to perform three instruction operations: an instruction to replace the circuit by the mode instruction from the mode instruction means, and an instruction for the two circuits to be replaced from the circuit instruction means. The operating effort is halved compared to the six instruction operations required in the conventional example.

2) In this embodiment, the circuit exchange process during sequence program creation is taken as an example, but if the created sequence program is transferred to the programmable controller, the above-mentioned process is performed after the sequence program is transferred from the programmable controller to the user RAM 4. Perform circuit replacement processing. Thereafter, the corrected sequence program is returned to the programmable controller. In this case, as explained in the description of the conventional example, there is no need to transfer the circuit information to be exchanged between the two devices, so there is less noise influence during information transfer, and data is not destroyed. Never.

3) In this embodiment, after all the circuit information to be replaced is transferred to the system RAM 3, the deletion and insertion processing is performed, but the transfer, deletion, and insertion processing is performed for each piece of information that constitutes the circuit information. You can. In this case, cput
This has the advantage that the work area of +1AM4 for the system can be made smaller because the work register in the system can be used, but it has the disadvantage that the exchange processing time becomes longer.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, in the present invention, the operator only needs to specify the two circuits to be replaced and the replacement mode, so the number of operations is halved compared to conventional devices. , the operating effort of the operator is reduced. Further, even in the case where an erroneous input is made during the creation of a sequence program or when a design change is made after the program is created, circuit replacement processing becomes easy, so that the correction processing can be accomplished in a short time.

Furthermore, even when replacing and modifying the sequence program stored in the programmable controller, the replacement and modification can be done within the programming device, which reduces the number of times information is communicated between the sequence programmable controller and the programming device, thereby reducing noise. This also has the effect of reducing the probability of data corruption caused by the influence.
