いる。BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY In general, the process of forming a corrugated box includes a paper feeding process in which corrugated paper cut into a predetermined shape is fed;
A printing process for performing necessary printing on predetermined areas of the corrugated paperboard, a process for forming predetermined cut grooves and folded parts, a gluing process for connecting the body parts, and folding and gluing of the paper after gluing. The main work steps are: stacking the obtained products in predetermined numbers, sending the stacked products to a binding machine, and bundling the delivered products. In the above printing process, normally, as shown in FIG. 3, a conveyance path 3 for the cardboard paper 2 is formed by the feed rollers 1, 1, . . . , and a printing cylinder 4 is rotated above the conveyance path 3. A stamp 5 is fixed on the surface of the printing cylinder 4 while being freely arranged. 6 is a metering roll, 7 is an anilox roll, and ink 8 is placed between both rolls 6 and 7.
is supplied, and by rotating both rolls 6 and 7 as shown by the arrow, the anilox roll 7
The ink is applied to the stamp 5 from the conveyance path 3.
When the corrugated paperboard 2 conveyed along the printing cylinder 4 passes under the printing cylinder 4, the stamp 5 comes into pressure contact with the corrugated paperboard 2, so that predetermined printing can be performed.

In other words, the circumferential dimension of the printing cylinder 4 is taken as one pitch, and printing is performed by pressing the stamp 5 against the corrugated paper 2 for each circumferential dimension, so the printing position cannot be easily changed. There is a problem. Generally, corrugated boxes are produced with a standardized shape, and there is no problem when printing continuously on the same type of corrugated paper, but when printing on corrugated paper that is larger than the circumference of the printing cylinder 4, When printing, the printing cylinder 4 cannot be used as is, so
Printing must be performed using a printing press equipped with a printing cylinder having a circumferential dimension larger than the printing cylinder 4. Therefore, there is a problem in that the equipment costs are increased, leading to high costs.

Alternatively, when printing a symbol, if the sensor does not detect the passage of the cardboard paper, the pair of slide frames slide upward along the pair of fixed frames, and the cardboard paper moves idly. On the other hand, when the sensor detects that the corrugated paper has reached a predetermined position, the slide frame slides downward along the fixed frame based on the signal from this sensor, and the printing paper attached to the slide frame A stamp fixed to the surface of the cylinder receives ink supplied from an ink supply mechanism and is pressed against the corrugated paper, thereby printing on the corrugated paper.

Furthermore, since the printing cylinder is driven to rotate at the same speed as the conveyance speed of the corrugated paper, characters and letters can be placed at desired fixed positions on the corrugated paper.
This provides the effect that figures or symbols can be printed continuously.

ことが可能となるものである。 An actual example of printing characters, figures, or symbols on corrugated paperboard using the above-described lifting device of the printing mechanism will be described below. That is, the printing position is preset in the digital preset counter 31 as shown in FIG. 2A. Then, first, cardboard paper 2
is being conveyed in the direction of arrow A, the first sensor 32 detects the passing of the leading edge of the corrugated paperboard 2,
At the same time, the digital preset counter 31 starts counting in response to a signal issued from the second sensor 33. While the counting is continuing, the printing cylinder 13 and the stamp 14 are idling as shown in FIG. Next, when the digital preset counter 31 reaches the initially set preset value, the drive air cylinders 27 and 28 start operating, and the printing cylinder 13 moves toward the arrow shown in FIG. 2C based on the operating principle described above. The printing cylinder 13 descends as shown in D, and then the printing cylinder 13 comes close to the corrugated paperboard 2 as shown in D in the figure. When the printing cylinder 13 further rotates from this state, the stamp 14 is
comes into pressure contact with the corrugated paper 2, and the corrugated paper 2
Print predetermined characters, figures, or symbols on. Same figure F
indicates a state in which the third sensor 34 has detected the completion of printing, and the signal from the third sensor 34 is transmitted to the driving air cylinders 27 and 28.
The printing cylinder 13 rises. Thereafter, similar operations are repeated, and printing can be performed at desired fixed positions on the corrugated paperboard sheets that are sequentially conveyed along the conveyance path. As is clear from the above explanation of the operation, the printing cylinder 13 is connected to the slide frames 12, 12.
The slide frames 12, 12 move up and down in conjunction with the driving air cylinders 27, 28.
The drive is controlled by. Therefore, even when printing on corrugated paperboards having different length dimensions, the slide frame starts sliding after the sensor detects the passage of the corrugated paperboard.
The printing start pitch can be arbitrarily set, and the contact start position between the stamp 14 and the corrugated paper 2 can be arbitrarily set regardless of the circumferential dimension of the printing cylinder 13, and any length dimension can be set. Even if the corrugated paper 1 is held, it is possible to print at a desired position.

That is, when the sensor does not detect the passage of the corrugated paper, the pair of sliding frames slides upward along the pair of fixed frames, and
While the corrugated paper is running idle, when a sensor detects that the corrugated paper has reached a predetermined position, the slide frame slides downward along the fixed frame based on the signal from this sensor,
A stamp fixed to the surface of a printing cylinder attached to the slide frame receives ink supplied from an ink supply mechanism and is pressed against the corrugated paper, thereby printing on the corrugated paper.
Therefore, even when printing on corrugated paperboards with different length dimensions, the slide frame starts sliding after the sensor detects the passage of the corrugated paperboard paper, so the printing start pitch can be set arbitrarily. Furthermore, since the printing cylinder is rotated at the same speed as the conveyance speed of the corrugated paper, characters, figures, or symbols can be continuously printed at desired fixed positions on the corrugated paper. . Therefore, even when it is necessary to continuously print on corrugated paper having a length that exceeds the circumference of the printing cylinder, or on corrugated paper having different shapes and dimensions, the printing cylinder is There is no need to use another printing machine with a different circumferential dimension, and printing can be continued as is. Therefore, it is possible to perform high-precision printing such as multi-color printing, overprinting, decorative printing, etc. at a predetermined position on a cardboard box, which increases the versatility of the printing mechanism and improves work efficiency. This has the great effect of helping to reduce costs. The printing mechanism disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention has been explained as the most suitable embodiment for carrying out the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and other embodiments may be used. Needless to say, the present invention can also be applied to other printing mechanisms.
