For telephone equipment connected to telephone lines such as central office lines,
A speech level switching device is installed in the telephone equipment to compensate for fluctuations in speech level due to differences in the line length to the telephone station to which it belongs, and when the line length is short, an attenuator is applied to the telephone line by switching the switching device. (so-called 3dB pad) is inserted.

By the way, when a call level switching device is provided in a telephone device such as a button telephone device in which a plurality of telephone lines (office lines) are accommodated in close proximity, in order to reduce crosstalk between the telephone lines, Even if an attenuator is inserted into the speech line by switching the speech level, the balance between the two lines must be maintained, and therefore the attenuator may be inserted into one line as shown in FIG. (hereinafter referred to as A line) The circuit elements (resistors R 1 , R 2 and capacitor C) inserted on the a side and the circuit elements (resistance R 1 , R2 and capacitor C) must be constructed in the same way.

The conventional speech level switching device described above requires four connection links per telephone line. If the number of connection links is large, not only is it easy to forget to switch the call level when switching, but it is also undesirable in terms of the number of parts and the space for mounting the parts.

In the example shown in FIG. 2, this connection is made by inserting the P connector 3 into the T 1 side of the J connector 1 and the P connector 4 into the T 3 side of the J connector 2. In the example shown in , this is done by inserting the P connector 7 into the J connector 5.

When the above connection is made, since the two pins of terminal T 1 are open, there is a resistance R 1 on A wire a,
A series circuit of R 2 is connected, and the two pins of terminals T 2 and T 4 are closed by links L 1 and L 2 , respectively, so that resistances R 3 and R 4 are connected to B line b.
series circuit is connected. Therefore, the phone is a resistor
It will be connected to the office line via an attenuator composed of R 1 to R 4 and a capacitor C.

[Effects of the invention] As is clear from the above explanation, according to the invention, the number of connection links required for the call level switching device is reduced to 2.
The number of connection links is extremely small compared to conventional connection links, making it possible to switch the call level in a short time, and the chances of forgetting to switch at that time are extremely reduced. In addition, the number of connectors used for connection links is also small. Therefore, it contributes to cost reduction and downsizing of the device.
Furthermore, if the present invention is implemented in the manner shown in FIG.
The above two connection links can be integrated, the efficiency of call level switching work is further improved, and forgetting to switch is virtually impossible. As described above, the present invention has extremely large effects.
