If the bare conductor bus duct is installed at a high temperature and remains unloaded for a long time, condensation will form on the surface of the insulating support of the bus duct, resulting in poor insulation resistance, interfering with power transmission, and causing short circuits between phases and ground. It becomes a factor.

After drying the inside of the bus duct, the insulation was re-insulated. After measuring the resistance, it was necessary to carry out the troublesome operation of transmitting power.

In the figure, three bare conductors 1 are supported within a rectangular housing 2 by spacers (insulating supports) 3 at predetermined intervals (for example, about 30 cm pitch). An insulated constant temperature heater electric wire 4 is attached to one corner of the housing 2 using fittings 5 (for example, at a pitch of about 1 m).

For example, it has a structure as shown in FIG. In the figure, resistance wires (single wire or twisted wire) 6, 6' are arranged on both sides,
A band-shaped conductive special insulating layer (a material layer whose volume resistivity changes depending on the temperature) 7 is provided to cover the surroundings and connect the wires, and further around the layer 7 is a cross-linked conductive insulating layer 7. A polyethylene (PE) insulating layer 8 is coated. These conductive or insulating substances are crosslinked by electron irradiation or by a crosslinking agent.

℃, the volume resistivity of the special insulating layer 7 decreases from 10 2 to 10 4 Ω-cm at room temperature, as shown in Figure 3.
At 100°C, the resistance increases to 10 5 to 10 7 Ω-cm, and the resistance wires 6 and 6' are insulated and the current flow is stopped. The dimensions of the flat heater wire as shown in FIG. 2 are, for example, about 5 mm in thickness and 15 mm in width.

The entire flat heater wire 4 is heated uniformly,
For example, when the temperature reaches about 100℃, the conductive special insulating layer 7 turns into an insulator, and the current supply is stopped.
temperature is maintained, so there is no need to install a separate temperature control device.
