【考案の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) この考案は、油等の流体輸送用パイプラインに
おいて、該パイプ内の残液排除又は清掃用ピグ装
置のピグレシーバーに関する。

(従来の技術) 従来、油を輸送するパイプラインにおいて、残
液排除又は清掃のために用いられるピグ装置とし
ては、ラインパイプの前後に設けるピグランチヤ
ーとピグレシーバーとの間をパイプ内径よりやや
大きい外径のスフエヤーピグその他パイプ内の清
掃に好適する各種形状のピグ類(以下ピグと略
称)というゴム等の成形体を圧送させて行うもの
であつたが、在来のピグレシーバーは例えば実公
昭58−49829号公報に示されたもののように輸送
パイプの外部に取付けられるため、上記作業を行
うごとにピグをピグレシーバー内より外部に取り
だし、再度ピグランチヤー側に搬送しなければな
らなかつた。したがつて、ピグを送り返すために
使われる労力は、ラインパイプの敷設距離に比例
して大となり、それに要する経費も増大するもの
であつた。

端を密封可能としたピグレシーバー1の中間部
に、ピグの移動を阻止するストツパ2を取付け、
該ストツパ2にはピグがピグランチヤー側より圧
送されたときその衝撃に耐える強度を与えるとと
もに一部に残液等の通過を許す開口部3を設け、
また該ストツパ2によつて前後室に仕切られたピ
グレシーバー1の後室に返送空気送込用のノズル
7とドレン抜孔12とをそれぞれ設けて成るもの
である。

空気は空気抜孔より排出され、またピグ前方のド
レンは開口部を通過しドレン抜より外部へ排出さ
れる。

掃、残液排除を自動化すれば、より省力化を図る
ことができる効果をもつものである。
