On the other hand, the basic premise is to make full use of the surface and decorative properties inherent in wood without unnecessarily diminishing it, using as little wood as possible.
In addition to having good load-bearing capacity, it is an easy-to-install flooring material that can be installed without requiring the smoothness of the surface that is required when installing only wood materials, and it also has a certain degree of cushioning and soundproofing properties. 2. Description of the Related Art Recently, wood-based composite flooring materials that use rubber materials, plastic materials, and especially foam materials such as polyethylene foam as composite materials have been developed as flooring materials that have heat insulation and heat retention properties.

However, this type of conventional wood-based composite flooring simply combines the characteristics of wood with the characteristics of other materials to be composited, so it lacks adaptability as a desirable flooring material. It had a point. For example, in the case of composite flooring materials using polyethylene foam, a low initial hardness (for example, at 25% compression) that gives a soft feeling when walking, and a high compression hardness (for example, 50% compression) that eliminates the feeling of bottoming out throughout the flooring. %, when compressed by 75%), it is not possible to obtain ideal characteristics that satisfy both factors at the same time.
If you want to ensure a soft feel, you have to limit the compression hardness, so the feeling of bottoming out becomes unavoidable, and conversely, if you want to lose the feeling of bottoming out, you have to increase the compression hardness. As a result, the initial hardness increases accordingly, and the soft feeling when walking has to be diminished. In short, the most ideal walking surface is one that has a soft feel at the beginning of the step when the foot first contacts the floor and the weight is transferred, and has a load-bearing capacity that does not sink during the subsequent steps. Despite this, there has never been anything that satisfies all of these requirements. Furthermore, as a means of adjusting the above-mentioned factors, the foaming ratio is actually controlled, but lowering the foaming ratio leads to an increase in the amount of resin, which is undesirable from a cost standpoint. In addition, a decrease in foaming ratio leads to a decline in sound insulation, heat retention, and other properties, and it also increases the tendency for a closed cell structure to occur, resulting in poor moisture wicking, making it difficult to control the foaming ratio. The current situation is that there are natural restrictions.

Therefore, the purpose of this invention is to improve the surface quality, decorativeness, load-bearing capacity, soundproofing, heat insulation, heat retention, workability, and construction properties of this type of conventional wood-based composite flooring. To provide a wood-based composite flooring material which has superior characteristics, can satisfy the basic requirement of a comfortable walking feeling as a flooring material, and is extremely economical.

By adopting the above-mentioned structure, the surface quality and decorative properties of the wood material can be ensured in the upper layer, and the lower layer has cushioning properties, sound insulation properties, heat insulation properties, and heat retention properties, and the upper layer also has the same properties as the upper layer. It has a good load-bearing force in the connection. Furthermore, regarding the feel of the veneer itself, there is no feeling of coldness due to the combination with the urethane chip layer that is the bottom layer. In addition, since the foam structure of the lower layer can absorb unevenness on the installation surface, there is no need for work such as smoothing the installation surface at the construction site, which requires strict design and extremely high skill, making it easy to install and work. It happens. In short, it can be installed just like installing a regular cushion floor.

Moreover, due to the unique combination of a relatively thin veneer and a urethane chip layer, the characteristics are largely controlled by the properties of the urethane chip layer, and while a low initial hardness can be obtained. Since it has a high compression hardness, it provides a soft feeling when you first step on it, and when you step on it, you don't feel like you're bottoming out, so it can give you an extremely good walking feeling. Furthermore, since the urethane chip layer itself has an open cell structure, it also has the property of dissipating moisture. Also, if it is made of wood, it will make a sound when you walk on it, but in the above structure, since the top layer is made of a relatively thin veneer, almost no sound is emitted. Furthermore, since the lower layer is made of chip foam, it is naturally more economical in terms of raw materials than regular non-chip so-called virgin foam, and even if the foaming ratio is kept low, there is no need to increase the amount of resin, which increases the cost. I don't have to worry about it happening.

The method for manufacturing the lower layer is to put the urethane chips 4 and filler 5 into a blender, and then inject a polyurethane binder of about 5 to 20% by weight into the blender, or use a spray gun to inject the polyurethane binder into the blender. Blow in and stir to mix. Next, by compressing the whole to a desired thickness and adding water vapor to react and harden the binder, the lower layer 3 as a molded product is completed by solidifying and integrating with the urethane chips.

Techniques employed in normal plywood production, such as bonding with a melamine adhesive, cold pressing, and hot pressing, may be used as appropriate, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, a method may be adopted in which the upper layer 1 is bonded together at the same time as the lower layer 3 is formed.

By the way, the thickness of the upper surface layer 1 is such that it takes advantage of surface properties and decorative properties, has load-bearing force when combined with the lower surface layer, and also obtains suitable initial hardness and compressive hardness in relation to the lower surface layer 3. 0.1-1.5 mm is preferable from the viewpoint of etc. On the other hand, the lower layer 3 also has a thickness of at least 3 mm and a foaming ratio of 2 to 10 times, that is, 0.5, in order to exhibit good flooring applicability when combined with the upper layer 1.
A density of ~0.1 is most desirable.

As described above, the wood-based composite flooring material according to this invention has a relatively thin veneer called a tsuki board as the upper layer, and a special urethane chip layer on the lower layer instead of the usual foam. Although this flooring material has an extremely simple structure, simply pasting them together, it takes advantage of all of the surface and decorative properties of wood, and also has cushioning and soundproofing properties, as well as heat insulation. It has excellent heat retention properties, is resistant to damage even if glass tableware etc. is dropped, and exhibits sound absorption and insulation functions even when loud noises are emitted or even unpleasant sounds are transmitted. In addition, even when flying or bouncing around with great force, there is almost no sound like that produced by a single wood material, and the air-conditioning environment inside the room, such as air conditioning and heating, is extremely good, and the mutual temperature influence between indoor and outdoor areas is significantly reduced. In addition to restricting humidity, it also eliminates moisture, creating an optimal living environment. Furthermore, it doesn't feel cold to the touch, which you wouldn't expect from its appearance. In addition, strict design is required during construction, and there is no need to smoothen the laying surface each time the construction is performed. This eliminates the need to smoothen the surface of the construction site each time, resulting in extremely favorable effects in terms of ease of construction and workability. It is something that plays.

What is even more noteworthy is that a suitable walking feeling was obtained. In other words, as mentioned above, with conventional composite flooring materials using polyethylene foam, increasing the compression hardness in order to eliminate the feeling of bottoming out also increases the initial hardness and loses the soft feel. It is an ideal flooring material with low compression hardness and high compression hardness, making it soft and at the same time providing a comfortable walking feeling without the feeling of bottoming out.
In addition, although it has all the excellent properties mentioned above, it is made of veneer, which requires only a very small amount of material, and urethane chips, which can be made from waste materials, so it is extremely inexpensive to obtain. At the same time, it is extremely economical and resource-saving as there is no need to go out of your way to increase the amount of resin in order to achieve a low foaming rate, which is the case with ordinary non-chip so-called virgin foam.
We were able to provide a wood-based composite flooring material that is extremely practical.
